Hey everyone!
My website is coming along nicely, and traffic is increasing week to week.
However, I'm having some difficulty increasing website interaction. Gene
The niche isn't a terribly specific niche. But mostly it is about saving money, making money, and saving time.
I clicked on your website and got "This site can't be reached" Keep writing great content and invite people to comment, also earn credit with site comments and ask WA members to comment. All the best!
The benefit for leaving an email address is vague. "More tips and skills"
Pick your most attractive tip or skill and offer that as a bonus for leaving email.
Also you can ask for comments or suggestions at the end of each post so visitors feel more like participants
Well your site looks really nice, so just keep doing what you're doing. It's a game of numbers, as your site grows over the weeks.months it'll pick up and start gaining subscribers

How do I add an SPF record to my WA site for email marketing service?
My domain name is from Namecheap, and my website is hosted on WA.
I created an email mark
I'm having the same problem right now. I have a email service that I'm using but I need to add an SPF record to the DNS entries to show that my email deliver service is authorized to send on my domains behalf. Otherwise, it looks like scammers using my domain name.
Fortunately and unfortunately WA is trying to make the system as simple as possible so that anyone from any background can jump in and start a website without having to worry about all the technical details.
I'd talk to Kyle or Carson about this, I've never dealt with something like this before. Is this something you could add via FTP?
Thanks Nathan.
No the FTP won't do it, to my knowledge. Normally one would just log in to the cPanel or equivalent back end, add the record real quick, and be done with it.
A number of other issues popped up with Benchmark Email, and as a result I believe I will be switching to Mail Chimp anyway =) So the issue is sort of resolved, as far as I'm concerned.
But for a number of reasons it would still be nice to be able to add basic records.

I'm looking to write a review for an awesome new theme for affiliates. I'm not going so far as to say it's the best, but it's one of my favorites.
So I'm wondering if any
3 Affiliate Centric Wordpress Themes That Will Increase Your Sales
Super Affiliate Wordpress Themes That Will Blow Your Mind
The #1 Made-For-Affiliates Wordpress Theme in 2015
How's that?
Hi Jeff
"Best WordPress Theme for Affiliates" and "Best Affiliate Marketing WordPress Theme" both have pretty low search traffic according to the WA keyword tool..
But just "Affiliate WordPress Theme" comes in at 104 searches a month and under 300 competition pages, so you could go for something like "Top/My Favourite New Affiliate WordPress Theme - [theme name]" and see if you can rank under that? Those three keywords are versatile enough to be reused naturally in the text and if my understanding is correct, your title doesn't have to be just the keywords you are targeting. Perhaps someone can correct me if I've got this wrong.
I do agree with Floridalma though, once the theme has more exposure your article should be found easily. If it's one of the first reviews out there, you'll probably get page one.
Maybe you can try to rank for both somehow :)

I think [theme name] review is fine. Odds are that if you put specific themes and do reviews on them, that people are going to find your review.

im looking for help building my email list: specifically I'm looking for training on how to get people to subscribe, and what to do once they have. Anyone got anything?
There's a bunch of training in the Email Marketing classroom: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/email-marketing
That's how I got my start. Also, subscribe to a few email lists from bloggers you like to see how they do things, and what you can take from their methods. Pay attention to frequently of emails, writing style, linking style, and how/when they sell
Hi Jeff. The process is always as follows: Have great content on your website that gives great information but leaves your visitors wanting more. Have some sort of free offer or free download of something they will desire. Have them enter an e-mail address in an opt-in form. This redirects them to your hidden download page. Meanwhile their e-mail address gets stored in your system. At present I am doing this totally for free using a manual system. Marion Black did a training on Easy Signup Plugin. Once my traffic is growing well I shall be off to Aweber.
In fact the WHOLE purpose of your website is to get people to opt in to your e-mail list.

Did I have a clever perspective on the keyword, or am I wasting my effort?
I'm looking at keywords, and I find one that doesn't appea
Worth a try, but Google is pretty smart at figuring out context. I would guess that Google is looking for Wordpress Themes for Real Estate.
Either way, "for" is a stop word and I'm pretty sure is not taken into account with Google. Look at the keyword for "wordpress themes for real estate" and see what competition looks like. Those numbers are probably a better indication of what your competition is.
But these are just my best guesses, because no one really knows how Google decides to rank things.
Hi Jeff, I asked a similar question and didn't get a satisfactory answer. Now, from what I've experienced, the searschresults change every time I ad or change a word. Even an additional the or and gives different results.
So, until now I tried to integrate the keywords from Jaaxy in the title and then add something after a "-"
Hope to see more posts here!
Stefan
Yes you are on target. The term needs to be in the title but doesn't have to be the whole title.
Hey Jeff
Can you just add a dash, i.e. WordPress Themes - Real Estate ? 88 searches, 15 traffic and 218 competition.
Or, does it work the other way around? I.e Real Estate WordPress Themes? Competition is 255, but searches are 900 p/m, traffic est 156. Not impossible to rank under?
What about 'Best Wordpress themes - real estate' Searches 80, traffic 18 and competition 19
I'm not entirely sure why we are told to make the keywords grammatically correct, I guess so they flow in text when you're writing content, but I often see search results where say three or four keywords aren't necessarily grouped together in sentences on the pages G offers up to me. And, personally, I don't always search for things with words like 'the' and 'for' in the criteria.
But in answer to your other questions 1-3, yes I believe it would work.. as long as the keywords are there, it doesn't matter what words come before and after.
C
Hi Claire, thanks for your thoughtful response I can always count on you!
As far as the dash...I've never really thought of using a dash in the keyword tool. I've never used one in a google search, so I never stopped to think other people might.
You think they do?
Yea I'm not sure about the grammatically correct thing. I guess (thinking out loud):
-Page titles and headings that don't make grammatical sense look spammy or early ESL?
-Perhaps google has a way to detect grammar? I know they don't like misspellings.
I dunno. But thanks for your response! Definetly something to consider for me. In my keyword database there are many situations where, if I think about the keyword differently, they suddenly make grammatical sense.
Any other thoughts out there, WAers?
Hey
I think the dash is discounted.. I tried it in the keyword tool and it is ignored, same for a straight up Google search.. but as far as your webpage goes, a dash or even colon makes the sentence OK, grammatically. That's my take on it, anyway :)
Hadn't really considered that G might have grammar police but it totally makes sense, as does the theory of it looking like spam.. You've got me wondering now.. great question, look forward to seeing what everyone else has to say about it!
