Is there a way to increase your followers without having to pay $100 or more?

Have a look at Yakitori's Ultimate Guide to Twitter. It shows you how to increase your followers and much more. It's a great piece of training

Thanks for the link Evie! :)

Hi jedmed,
In addition to Tony's idea, another way to get more followers on Twitter is to leave some well thought comments on related tweets. Especially ones that have quite a few retweets or are the topic of conversation. Usually that gets a reply at the least and often a few more followers if you comment and reply on tweets.

I also make it a habit of tweeting a "thank you for the follow " tweet along with any new followers' twitter name...make sure to use the @sign before their name so it'll notify them you mentioned them...I've noticed this often gets more people to follow too.

At least these are a couple things that have worked for myself in the past...haven't been on Twitter for awhile though, but I'll give you a follow too once I get over there.

Hope that helps you out some.
Best wishes :) ~Sherry

Great ideas! I will do that. I think the concept of commenting and engaging applies to all social network, sometimes I'm just overwhelmed with so many things to do at the same time. It's great to be reminded like what you suggested.

Hi jedmed,
Yes, it does get overwhelming at times especially if you're on quite a few different social networks, which is why I'm not on Twitter every day, but I do still check it as often as I can...

You probably already know this, but maybe others here don't is another thing about commenting on tweets is it's a good idea to do so when you have the time to reply back...not comment and leave right away...tweets go by extremely fast compared to other social networks.

Best wishes :) ~Sherry
p.s. followed you on twitter so you know. :)

Thanks for the follow and yes, replying to tweets are so fast and in few minutes everything changes and hard to catch up. Unlike FB since, as you said, commenting can be quite different from a tweet.

You're welcome and that is very true as I've found out...it's hard to catch up on Twitter if you happen to comment on something that a lot of people are "talking" about and leave for a bit...I made that mistake before and probably lost out on connecting with quite a few possible new followers.

One real good way is to post your Twitter link on your profile page here at WA so when Friends visit your profile page they can also follow you on Twitter and any other Social Network that you share in the same area that we share our website(s) just under our pictures, blogs and trainings.

Does this help Herman?

Thank you my Friend,

Tony

Thanks, I did that! :)

Awesome Herman,

I have now followed you on Twitter and liked your Facebook page my Friend.

Tony :)

Thanks Tony!

I'm reading articles on your website now. Those social buttons are standouts! I may increase the size of my own social icons too. I love the clean, professional look of your site.

You are welcome Herman, Thank you my Friend!

I don't think the U.S. is ready for this. If they don't get on top of this, then we will be on the bottom! I hope they get a hand on this.
We have too much to loose.
One thing is for sure, we cant afford to loose this kind of war! Yes, war! That is just what it is. We could not function if we loose our
electronic way of life!
cheers,

This is very true. Thanks for sharing.
