I'm Joyce; I Want to Be a Happier One, I Can Do It, and You Can Do It too!

We all want to be happier in this world. But there's some reason to wish to be more lighthearted. Happiness is a result, but happiness is also a driver. At the same time, doing this research improves personal productivity, whether a one-day burst of output or a lifetime of increased effectiveness. Or the things we should not do every day, probably the best way to be more productive is to be happier—anyone who knows to see how lucky he is, despite the difficulties. Writing down at least one good thing in our life a day will make us feel fortunate, and gradually we will learn to be happy today and every day.

This is very important to our day to day life, especially when facing to our work, what ever it is personal or like here in Wealthy Affiliate, and to our businesses. I am Joyce, and here is my latest achievement. I continue working hard and find the best way to success! https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jeaston/blog/my-journey-so-f...

Here are the most practical tools to be happier in life.

A. Smile Often; you can do it.

We are smiling every time you think about it, not only when you encounter your smile cue. Think of something you like when you smile; it will make your smile sincere. Please make sure that you've plenty of reminders to smile more often. Eventually, it will become a natural habit to smile one of your most healthy ones. A smile makes you, the person smiling, happier regardless of the situation. The brain, in turn, releases endorphins that lower stress and improves your overall mood, hence making the situation pleasant.

B. Take Exercises for even 8 minutes.

(I use Taebo Aerobic for 8 minutes)

Think about exercise as something you don't have time to do it. Try to think again and again. Exercise helps reduce anxiety and depression. When you exercise, it increases endorphins, dopamine, adrenaline, and endocannabinoid; these are all brain chemicals associated with feeling happy, feeling confident, feeling capable, feeling less anxiety and stress. Exercise improves mental health by and negative mood and improving self-esteem and cognitive function. The activity also has to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal.

C. Sleep more to boost your day.

We already know that sleep helps our body recover from the day and repair itself, and helps us focus and more productive. It turns out to rest is also essential for happiness. Getting a whole night's sleep not only feels good but also improves your mental performance and boosts your overall health. Most adults need more than 7 hours per night for optimal well-being. Children and teenagers need even more to support their development. Sleep needs vary, but on average, regularly sleeping more than 9 hours a night may do more harm than good. The study found that people who slept longer had more calcium buildup in their heart arteries and less flexible leg arteries.

D. How about spending more time with friends and families.

We appreciate having a good friend in our life, and at works like here in Wealthy Affiliate, it's no difference. It's good for our spirits to have people around us who we care about and care for us. Our friendships help us deal with stress, and they bring meaning to the work we do every day.

Remember also that no constant communication and not staying in touch with friends and family are among the top five regrets of the dying feeling. Social time is precious when it comes to improving our happiness, even for an introverted individual. Several studies have found time spent with friends and family makes a big difference in how happy we feel. We are delighted when we have family looking at us, we are so glad when we have friends to take care of us, and most of all, other things that made us happy are the ways of getting more family and friends.

E. Make a schedule to go out more often.

We made time to go outside on a nice day and deliver a huge advantage; the study found that spending 20 minutes outdoors in good weather boosts a positive mood, broadens thinking, and improves our working memory. These are good news for those of us who worry about fitting new habits into a busy schedule. Twenty minutes is short enough time to spend outside that we could fit into our commute or even our lunch break. Here are some excellent places to visit; going outdoors, near the seaside, on a park, the sunny weekend afternoon is a perfect spot for most. Participants found out to be substantially happier.

F. Help Other People

In the study, all volunteers have higher self-esteem and overall well-being. The benefit of volunteering also depends on our consistency. So the more regularly we volunteer, the more confidence we'll gain. Plus, one study found that people are more likely to perform feats of generosity after observing another to do the same. These effects can ripple throughout the community, inspiring dozens of individuals to make a difference. Helping others is not only good for them and a good thing to do, but it also makes us happier and healthier. Giving us a chance to connect to others, create a stronger community, and helping to build a happier society for everyone. It's not all about money, but we can also give our time, ideas, and energy.

G. Plan a Trip

(Even you never know when you take it)

Taking holidays, simply planning a vacation or break from work can improve our happiness. The research on the quality of life showing that the highest satisfaction came during the planning stage of a holiday; people enjoy the sense of anticipation. The effect of vacation anticipation boost happiness for eight weeks or so. If we can't take a vacation right now, even a night out with friends, put something on your calendar/planner, even if it's a month or year down the road. Then, whenever we need a boost of happiness, we remind ourselves about it.

H. Meditating

Meditation is often touted as an essential habit improving focus, clarity, and attention span, as well as helping to keep you calm. It turns out also helpful in improving your happiness. Meditation clears our minds and calms us down. It's often proving to be the single most effective way to live a happier life. According to research, Meditation makes you feel happier long-term. The studies show that we experience calm, contentment, and heightened awareness and empathy in minutes right after meditating.

I. Move closer to our work.

We have transportation every day. If we change to commute for work can have a surprisingly powerful impact on our happiness. We commute twice a day, at least five working days a week, making it unsurprising that the effect will build up over time make us less happy. According to research, having a long commute is something we often fail to realize will dramatically affect us. While doing it, voluntary conditions don't affect our happiness in the long term because we use them; sometimes, other people never get accustomed to their daily slog to work because the traffic is awful, and sometimes it's not. Driving with much traffic is a different kind of hell every day. We always try to compensate for this by having a bigger house or a better job, but these compensations don't work. We compare them today; most of us work from home because of the pandemic situation, which might be a better solution for everyone and be happier.

J. Practicing gratitude

Here is a simple strategy, but I have found a considerable difference in my outlook. There're many ways to practice gratitude, from keeping things you're grateful for, sharing three good things that have to happen each day with a friend or our partner, like going out of our way to showing gratitude when others are helping us.

Or Start a gratitude journal. Committing to writing down good things each day makes it more likely that we will notice good things as they happen.

K. Add the easiest tip of all to get older.

When we get older, particularly past middle age, we tend to grow and happier naturally. It also found more senior people shown pictures of faces or situations tend to focus on and remember the happier ones and the negatives one less.

While we grow older, we experience an increasing number of significant life changes, including career transitions, retirement, children leaving home, losing loved ones, physical and health challenges, even a loss of independence. How we handle change is often the key to healthy aging. Coping with change is difficult at any age, and it's natural to feel the losses you experience. However, by balancing the sense of loss with positive factors, it can stay healthy to continue to reinvent yourself as you pass through the landmark ages of 60, 70, 80, and beyond.

So if we thought getting old will make us miserable, it's likely we'll develop a more positive outlook than we probably have now. So stay happier as we can.

That's all my WA family. As I said, we can do it to be a happier one.

If you have another way to be a happier one, please share it here for friends and family.

Thank you for your time, and I Love You All,

Thanks,

Joyce :-)

Hi Joyce.
These are all great tips and I subscribe to them all, most of them daily. We always have the choice to be happy and there is always something to be grateful for.
Sending very smiley blessings to you and everyone here at WA.
Have a kind weekend.
Tracy

Thank you so much, Tracy!

I heard all your kind words and sharing, sending you back many smiley and more blessings, Tracy!

Thanks for your time reading this post and for stopping by. I appreciate you very much.

Thank you, and God bless!

Kind regards,
Joyce

Hi Joyce
My mother has often said: "all I want is for you to be happy". I have said the same thing to my daughter. Over the years many people I've met have commented on other people needing to be happy. When asked what people want out of life, they often seem to miss the simple "I want to be happy".
A very refreshing post, Joyce. Thank you.
:-)
Richard

Wow! That's so lovely to hear from you, Richard!

I really felt what is inside in your heart. I am feeling happy for you too, and that's not so easy if you have no "practice," as you said your mother told you to be happy and you told your daughter to be happy and so on... Wow, thank you so much, and you're the winner! What a happy family!

Thank you so much for your kind sharing here, Richard.
More happiness and Success!

Thank you, and Be Blessed!
Kind regards,

Joyce

Hi Joyce
Thank you for your lovely response.

I think many people make a mistake (my opinion) of thinking that “being happy” is a destination. They think “I’ll be happy when...............”.

It’s more useful to think of happiness as being a state of mind. It is natural for humans to want more, which should not be lost sight of but peace of mind comes from first accepting what we already have while striving to achieve our goals. Both are happening in the ‘now’.
:-)
Richard

Wow! Thank you so much for your additional sharing, Richard!
Yes, I understand.

Especially at this moment and in the "now" we have lots of changes in our life. Many are unhappy today. They must know how to handle or overcoming such situations. People learned how to be contented first while continuing to strive to reach their goals. And be happy for what they have, and staying positive mindset helps.

Thank you so much, Richard.
May God bless you more.

Thank you so much,
Joyce

Such a refreshing blog post - this is the kind of long post one deserves to read during one's lunch break. I have been told of being naturally too "smiley" lol but hey, life is too short, no point letting issues fester too long, be disappointed or sad but dont let it spoil your progress, appreciation, and enjoyment in life.

To happiness and Success 🤣🤞

Hello Christorv!

Wow! I love your beautiful message, my friend Christorv very CLEAR and very COOL. Thank you so much for your time reading my post today; sorry it is long this time, but that's not complete as many of our friends are asking to add more in there, faith in God, and practicing empathy.

I have no problem with you as your so cool, jolly, and know how to handle life whatever it is.

Yes, we have to continue to be happier and successful!

Thank you, and more blessings!

Kind regards,

Joyce

My dearest Joyce,

Thank you so much for your
encouraging and inspiring
message in here and so, so
grateful that I have the great
privilege and opportunity to
do everything you have stated
here and a couple more.

This is not to brag nor to impress
anyone but like you said if you can
do it, everyone can.

May I add one more which is the
crux of everything in my life and
probably I would get some spam
reaction to this as always and it
doesn't really matter.

My life revolves around my one
and only God, the Almighty as I
would not be here writing to you
if I didn't have the type of spiritual
relationship with the Higher Power.

He is the Source of all Good and
I would not have it any other way.

He is the Author of Life, the Giver
of Breath, the Maker of Everything
we see, hear, smell, touch and feel
around us and so He is my All and
Everything.

Thank you, my dear, Joyce and I do
really appreciate you more than you'll
ever know

I love you dearly.

God bless you more and more my dear
Joyce richly, quickly, and in peace.

Elizabeth

Hello Elizabeth! my friend.

Thank you so much for the time you given to me here, reading my article, and stopping by my friend. I appreciate it very much.

I actually agreed with you 100% percent that faith in God belongs here in my list, and I have added that Lynn told me that too, and even before Lyn, I have that in mind; I think I have to insert.

Thank you so much for sharing this here, Elizabeth. I appreciate you very much. Yes, He is the author of Life, the Giver
of Breath, the Maker of Everything we see, hear, smell, touch, and feel around us, and so He is our All and Everything, our Almighty God.

Thank you so much, Elizabeth, and may our God be with you as always.

Kind regards,
Joyce

What a beautiful message,
my dear Joyce.

Surely, the Good Lord does
understand us in every way
and we have a choice in life
as always and I would be a
miss if I did not continue to
glorify the Name as this is
what is missing in our world
right now.

Thank you so much, my dear
friend for your understanding
as well and your kindness.

I do really appreciate you.

With love and light,

Elizabeth

Thank you for a very nice message, Elizabeth!
I really felt the warmth and how sincere your heart is, my friend. Yes, we both understand that we have regulations to follow where we are right now, but it does not mean that I can not express his name anymore; I couldn't really accept it by myself. That he is my only one God up there and trusted with my life, and I'm happy enough for that. I hope I didn't break any rules here, as I didn't encourage anyone to follow me. And I have to stop here, that's all.

Thank you so much for your kind understanding, my friend. I am happy that you're the same; let's continue what we have started but with respect and in a proper way. May God bless us!!! As always.

I do appreciate you too.
More blessings!
With love,

Joyce

My dear Joyce,

I just replied to your message
just now and all of a sudden
it disappeared. I do not know.

Thank you for your understanding.
There is nothing wrong with giving
thanks for your life to our Maker.

What is the difference between
thanking the people here in WA
and thanking our One Source?

Surely it is a huge difference if
you think about what the Higher
Power can do to us compared to
the mere mortals.

Do you think any one of them can
provide for your life-giving breath?

Any action that we put out there will
have a corresponding consequence
and so what comes around goes
around.

Thank you again and may you have
a wonderful weekend.

Be at peace as God truly loves you.

And I love you too.

Elizabeth

Thank you so much, my dear Elizabeth. I appreciate you a lot.
I hope you enjoy your Saturday, and may God Bless us all, as always, my dear friend.

Thank you, and I love you too.
Joyce :-)

As always, my dear friend, Joyce
and you are divinely guided with
all your endeavors and affairs as
well as your families.

Be well my dear and be at peace.

Have a super powerful and prosperous
day!

I love you more.

Elizabeth

You're awesome, my dear friend Elizabeth! Thank God I meet you here in WA.

Enjoy the rest of the day and be happy my friend; I know you have all that please regards to all your beloved family to me.
Take care always,
Much Love,

Joyce

Aww! That is so kind of you
and you are such a sweet,
loving friend.

Yes, and it is a glorious
feeling when you live in
peace every single day.

Thank you, my dear and
thank you much more.

I am so grateful to God to
have met you in here and
as you know there is no
coincidence in this world.
We were meant to meet
in here.

Be well and be blessed.

Much love,

Elizabeth
