I invited a friend from Portugal with WA to post on my FB page and she did for a while. I did it because I needed content for my FB page and she wrote about and promoted WA in Portuguese. Also, WA members frequently Re-tweet my promotions on Twitter and I do the same for them and we share for each other on G+.

Hi Jean, you might wanna check this out as it may fix the Twitter issue as well. The All-in-One SEO has a lot to do with social images: Facebook Sharing - No Image Displayed

Read my blog Do you need a spam blocker? , those that use this never have issues. And sorry to all those that promote Askimet and captchas, they are only good for the bin.
Akismet does a rocking good job, but you have to activate it (on the plugins page), and you have to get an API key from Akismet and put it in the API key field before it will work at all. Check out Installing and Using Akismet Antispam or some other Akismet training here at WA to sort out the installation. It literally takes longer to read the instructions than it does to get it to work on your site.

The captcha is great; but be sure to couple with Akismet and setting your comments to be approved before publishing.
Use a captcha plugin. You are probably getting hit by "bots" captcha will stop them cold. I use "Eazy CF Captcha".
Akismet will work with captcha as well. If you don't want to play around with the spam I suggest you click on the "Silently discard the worst and most pervasive spam so I never see it.". I went from hundreds of spam comments to...well 2 spams in the last 6 month and Akismet took care of them for me. :)
