Researching the other guys
So I've spent a good part of my day researching other affiliate training programs. Whew.. what a long day! Very limited access to any information in a lot of cases, big turn off right there. I set up a separate email to sign up for these things to do my research.. I'm eager to see if the new email will be spammed by a bunch of stock follow up emails.
I love researching things, don't get me wrong. I think most of us do, which is how we ended up here.. I guess it just seems a bit tedious since I've found my home, the place where I belong, here at WA. I've been researching for years (on and off) and when I finally found WA, I had a good feeling.. Especially after I tried to find anything negative about it and couldn't. So far I can't really say that about the other sites I've been searching today.
So continue on, my friends and family. We're in the right place. Everything happens for a reason, and we've finally found the right path!

I've been scouring internet for about 5 years now, and checked out a lot of scams, and some sites that pay literally pennies for work I did, paid some money, got most of it back, but not all. When I got here, I knew this was the right place, the same as you.
You are so right, I've researched a lot of affiliate type sites, most of which were nothing but get rich scams, STILL get a kick out of the profiles of the Yuppie types, drink in hand, standing beside a fancy car, in front of a big house or on a beach. It's refreshing to not see anything remotely like that here at WA.
I've been a full time researcher for a little while now too and like you I don't mind having gone to bed at 2am, 3am, because like you said everything happens for a reason and this is indeed the right path!
Now I did have a relapse and did major research for online surveys last night, ouff that was time consuming! But after finding 18 legit ones that actually pay money, I am done with research and all set up! :)

Doing research can be time consuming, but it makes a website that much more credible good for you. And you're right everything happens for a reason.
Did you enjoy the process though? I have fun researching other products and tearing them apart....... I mean reviewing them :)
Agreed! I think research can be very beneficial but as a fellow researcher I'd like to warn not to get to caught up in it. At some point you have to stop and create. Getting distracted by all the options and items out there to draw from can result in indecision and even writers block. (With all of this, what will I do to be original??)
Just my own thoughts and experience. :) I shall continue on!
Thanks, Ethan. It is easy to get caught up and distracted by all this. I found myself spending too much time on a few of these, but I wanted to ensure that I had the facts straight for my top 5 review. As soon as I get this done, I think I'll be ready to show off my site... maybe...
Excellent point, Ethan. There is such a thing as analysis paralysis. I have a friend like that. Just to illustrate a point: she been searching for 2 full years now for a cell phone!
