Hi friends.

Have you been there? You have one last nerve and everyone and everything is getting on it. You look beside yourself and there you are "beside yourself". You are going in circles so fast that you meet yourself coming and going. There aren't enough hours in the day; or you are trying to fit too many days in one hour. I think we all get there at one time or another. What do we do?

1. The best thing to do when you find yourself going in circles is to just STOP!! Take a walk, do some deep breathing, get away from what you are doing Take a break. It is not wasting time, it is investing time toward a more productive you!

2. Take inventory. What got you to this point. Was it one thing (Like you just lost the post you spent 3 hours typing in) or many things closing in on you. Too many emails, a post to write, comments to answer, someone needs help, your family needs you, etc.

3. If it is one thing that has you stumped. Sometimes the break will be all you need to get a fresh perspective. Working on something less stressful tor an hour or so; may allow you to come back refreshed and able to tackle the "whatever" with renewed energy.

3. If it is many things pulling at you from all directions; the break may be used to take inventory of what needs done and what order it needs done in. Then pick out one easily accomplished task and DO IT! If you do the quick and easy tasks it will give you the feeling you are accomplishing something. Action increases motivation and motivation releases creativity. You will soon be moving easily through the more difficult tasks.

4. Let go of stress. Stress can be a motivator at times; but it is more likely that it will do you in if you let it. Meditation, prayer, deep breathing, exercising or a relaxing bath may all be helpful to reduce stress.

5. Self talk can be helpful. Ask yourself what you can let go of to reduce your stress. Is this or that really important, or can I let it slide? Put things in perspective. What is most important to me. Is anyone going to die if I don't get 2 posts a week published on my site? What is behind my stress? Is it a feeling of not being good enough, or my spirit of competition? Am I getting enough sleep? Online marketers are notorious for carving a little more time, for the task at hand, from time when we should be sleeping.

It may help to recognize that this is a finite world. Everything here will end. This too shall pass! Tomorrow is another day.

I find it helpful to release all my cares to the Lord. Prayer is my key to letting go of stress. Drawing close to God draws me away from my earthly woes. It helps me put things in perspective. Everything pales in comparison to an Almighty God.

I hope this helps if you have been frazzled. Now relax and have a wonderful weekend!

Jeannie
