Each Day is a New Day
Hello friends.
I have a piece of prose I would like to share. I hope it inspires you to stretch your boundaries and use your creativity.
Each Day is a Gift
Each day is a fight to survive.
To remain vibrant, inspired and alive.
To make of life something exciting and new.
And Conquer the doldrums that seek to steal
Your zeal and creativity from you.
Each day, we must push, to do
A little more than we did before;
And knead our dreams and goals
Into a dough that rises, pushing us upward
And outward, to experience the unknown.
Each day, we must strive to listen
To creative stirrings within,
To shut out the noise of discouragement;
And break the chains of fear.
Releasing the power of creativity,
Into boundless bursts, you can't contain.
Each day, we must realize,
That we aren't in this alone.
There's a power residing inside us
Free for the wandering soul
To release, with love in abundance
For strength, as we travel life's road.
Each day is a gift and a new chance
To live life more abundantly.
Will we unwrap the gift and enjoy it
Setting free all that God put inside
Or will we admire the gift wrap
While letting the gift die inside?

That was beautiful.
I am going to print it on pretty paper and read it each day.
I agree totally, each day is a gift.
Thank you for that gift of prose.

Thank you Susan. I'm pleased you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.
Each day is definitely a gift, Jeannie, and I like your Father's Day gift of a poem. Very nice! :)
Thanks Rick. Doing a blog on here is definetly a challenge with my iPhone. The screen you type in is permanently halfway off the screen. You are typing blind half of the time. I copied and pasted the poem; but that can also be a challenge on here.
Here is my Father's Day Poem about my father: You are There - Happy Father's Day! Good to hear from you. How's it going? :)
