Sharing WA
I was involved in a conversation today that led into passions and the wish "that we could get paid to do what we loved" Of course I say "I do"....
SILENCE
Twenty minutes or so goes by...."I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I mean like if I could get paid to go camping I'd never be home... wouldn't that be cool?".... I paused for effect..."No, I knew what you meant, I do"... another few moments pass "So you get paid to do nothing?"....
I sent them one of my WA centered post and said "when you're ready come find me."
While "nothing" is nowhere close to describing what we do here we are really very lucky to be able to work with things that were passionate about. No matter what that passion is; cars, clothes, music, movies, food, fishing.... there is no limit and I find that beautiful

People always seem to be surprised that you can make money from home - even before WA I was earning a living as a freelance writer. People assume if you're at home, you sit there watching TV and contemplating your navel lol! :)
I agree Jude. Most of my income has been from home through various odd jobs. This one happens to be my favorite

I believe I could safely say that after spending a Month working on my first website that working on websites is hardly "nothing" haha however, that's not to say that it isn't lovable and enjoyable.
You could also let your friend know that he COULD potentially get paid to go camping through WA. For example, I am working on a post right now that is primarily based around a fishing trip I took a few days ago. I hiked to a local lake, fished all day, took a ton of pictures, and now I am writing a post about that adventure and all of the gear I used... If everything goes well, I may make some money off of that fishing trip.
So, the potential is certainly there to make money going camping as well... Anyways, random story... Best of luck, I'm sure we'll see your friend here soon enough!
I'm sure she'll join up. I agree with you about this being anything, but nothing. I've invested a significant amount of time and energy into this endeavor. I would do it all again! Thank you for sharing about your fishing trip I would love to know when you get it up. Perhaps, with your permission of course, I could share it with her as an example....
I will definitely try to remember to let you know as soon as it is complete. I'm very analytical about my writing though, so it may be a couple days.
That's an amazing quality. There's no time limit on my end so don't feel rushed ot anything. And thank you. If it doesn't help sway her I'm certain it will add to your traffic.
