My kids ask why
I've got five kids. As you can imagine my house gets really loud sometimes. It's amazing to see what happens in my house when someone says "why?" My kids get really quiet and grab the encyclopedias. They sit and wait the explanation. Last night was a sleep over night. (Seven teenagers) and my younger two. On asleep over nights girls sleep down the hall the boys sleep in the living room and I "sleep" in between them all. George the youngest of them and his first sleep over at our house asked why? My kids almost died laughing, this is one of their favorite answers. Even Issac another one of the boys had heard the answer enough that he responded "darn it George i told you not to ask"
That story leads into this story. I got three letters at the end of the year. The teachers were displeased that my kids asked why, "about everything" they would go on to say that my kids would correct them when the answer was simply because.... my kids would say that's the answer adults like to give when they don't know or the reason isn't good.... I'm proud of my babies and the fact that "because" Will never be enough for them to just follow....

Lol! I'm use to these letters but usually the teachers aren't so forward mean about it. Is always your child is so inquisitive they want to know EVERYTHING..... this year it was much more direct lol
That is great and funny! Adults caught out with their lack of knowledge and not willing to admit it.......because!......lol!
Lol! It's funny when they tell on their teachers mom Mrs. Jepsen said because again should we take an encyclopedia to school
