In the family life
I woke up this fine morning to the summer storm. We were celebrating my nieces fifth birthday today and some were bummed about the weather conditions. My two youngest and I decided to start a war no one could win or lose. We started a water fight.
The other adults were skeptical, but changed their tunes when they got the water hose. Lol. By the end of it the storm one we were all soaked, but happy and relaxed. Most of the adults were resting while others were doing something with the children. I was working kind of at this point. Then the best thing ever happened.... round two was started when my sister threw a water balloon at me and MADE me quit working for a moment. Best sister ever!!!

Lol yup!! We always stay something though.... we aren't quick learners when it comes to that.... our family parties usually consist of people anxiously waiting for someone to start something lol
On a summer day when it's raining - but not thunder and lightning - it's a great day to go swimming. Why not. Because you are going to get wet anyways. Glad you had fun in a storm.
I love storms and agree about swimming or playing with water (provided its safe) it can be lots off fun and such a good distraction.
