Guam - Where America's Day begins - A U.S. territory. Hafa Adai means hello!

Hafa Adai! Just wanted to update our Wealthy Affiliate community on our progress thus far. When we first started and upgraded to Premium after a day of browsing the site, we knew we made a great decision to embark on this journey with you all.

We started less than a month ago and we're still excited. My husband and I have been collaborating on documenting our journey to parenthood. I do most of the writing and research while he does the back office "technical stuff." Things I don't have patience for, but amazed at what I've been learning.

We both continue to have full time jobs. With this ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, I work from home and my husband continues to go to the office daily.

We thought we'd only dedicate 10 hours weekly on our new website. But we've being doing at least 20 hours weekly...and it doesn't feel like work. Which is the great thing about WA - we're continually excited to learn and progress in this business.

Our two kids sometimes listen in while we're watching Kyle's training videos. And they've picked up on some of the business terms. Our 5 year old seems to know who Kyle is...haha!

With the summer months coming, I'll soon be on break from teaching. I can't wait to be learning and writing more content.

My greatest fear is getting stuck - not knowing what to write about - but after reading some WA posts on the topic it is something you can get through.

Blogging is not a sprint, but a marathon. The endurance to persevere is obtaining motivation from your fellow WA'ers. And I totally feel the motivation from the WA team.

To even say that word blogging - it seemed so foreign to me last month. Last night when my husband stated that I was a blogger now. I was like "wow!"

I work as teacher, am a mother and wife, and to be considered a blogger as well was kind of cool. I know my husband is a bit biased but hey I'll take the compliment.

Now Google, Bing, Amazon, etc. just needs to get on board!

Who would've thought a month ago this lady from the tiny island of Guam would create her first website and blog about her IVF journey to parenthood? I wouldn't have believed it if you told me that last month.

But who would have thought that our nation would shut down for a couple of months due to a virus pandemic? No one did.

Adjusting to this new normal has given me permission to pause and reset our lives. Calls for social distancing has given me time to reflect on not being socially isolated. Which gave me the courage to finally tell my story and embark on this journey.
