I know you can purchase your domain through WA but can you purchase it else where like godaddy or somewhere if it’s cheaper? Does it make a difference?
You can use any domain provider for your domain name. GoDaddy and Namecheap are the two I generally use. I check the names on both sites and go with the cheapest.

WA is cheaper for renewals and it includes privacy which other registrars may charge extra for.

Namecheap is good, WA is the best. GoDaddy made me wait 60 days to transfer my site from them to WA.
