Is the Domain price of $13.99 for life or for 1 year?
1 year.
That's a pretty low annual price, too, if you compare to someplace like GoDaddy AND add in all the features of hosting here.
I have a website on go daddy they charge me $20/yr just to park it there and not host it.
So the domain price ($13.99) includes hosting? I'm comparing the price to google domains which is $12/yr. But I am new to this so I don't know what the prices all pertain to exactly.
Watch out for renewal fees. WA is $13.99 flat, every year, and includes PRIVACY + SSL certificates FREE Stuff At Wealthy Affiliate Some registrars will charge 0.99 the first year, then $19.99 every year after that, and most will charge you extra for domain privacy (so people can't look up your address online), plus SSL (https) fees.
ALSO, just to clarify, "hosting" and "domain registrar" are two separate services. With WA you have access to both (hosting included, domains must be bought), but some people will have buy their domains at one place, but host at another.
e.g. You could buy a domain at Google Domains, but host here in WA.
*Your hosting is FREE with your Wealthy Affiliate membership, so you don't need to price shop for that :)
