Can't make heads or tails of this mess.
Its easy to see it as one big mumbo jumbo but think of it like this. Forget about the social media stuff and all the other stuff thats going to take some getting used to. Focus on just writing one post a day...thats it. Thats all I do at this point. If I pick something up fine but I dont try and figure everything out at once. Learn the basics of Wordpress, create posts about something you like and think about the other junk later. Looks by your questions on the right you're trying to do everything at once. Take it slow...its not a race
All problems have an expiration date. I just started and am realizing that even after some 30 years being a landscaper, I actually have a brain. I'm understanding Kyle's videos. I'm just freaking out because I don't know how to put it together. Good luck my friend but it's just building blocks. Take some time off (an hour) then come back.
I have gotten better at it. I am not a Writer (at all), That is what has scared me the whole time. I am on about Lesson 8&1/2. Mostly scared.

There is a lot to take in, the same applies to any business. Just focus on one lesson at a time, if you have to go over it 5 times until you totally understand, do that. nobody is going to judge you.
Give it a month, slowly working through the lessons you'll start to see your website beginning to develop. As it grows and develops try and learn from the successful members here. View their sites, get some design ideas.
