Hi Jay,

I think this is a matter of getting familiar with wordpress and probably not skipping over any lessons. I'm pretty sure this is covered in the 1st or 2nd training course.

You should go into WP and check out Users section, there you can fill out your role as the author. Dates can be adjusted by going into WP, then Settings, then General. There you can establish you Date Format.

Cheers,
Todd

I'd like to know how many comments should I aim for on each post? Whats a good avarage?

The more you have the better it is. But if you have 5 and reply to all of them, then it will be considered as 10. Try to request them over a period of time. I suggest one every week on each post (if you are using siteComment).

Kyle told me to shoot for 8-10 per post. Depending on the phrase, competition and seo score, I've found SEO scores above 90 (in Jaaxy) to be easy to rank for if the competition is low.

So the 10 comments rule works great. If I need to push it from say #7 to #1, then I'll continue to buy comments here and string them out over a couple weeks. I find this works pretty effectively and I also try to socially share the post each time I review or edit it.

I've also spent a ton of time on getting comments to post that I can't get past page 2 in Google because authoritative sites out rank me and I've found that it's pointless to go for more comments.

I think I'd stick to Kyle's advise unless you think you can push a post's rank up. Review the keyword phrase you're targeting and see what page one reveals. If there's a bunch of ads or some major authoritative type of site/sites ranking in the first 5 positions, forget about it and keep generating more targeted posts.

Thanks,
Todd

hats not definable. It could be from 1 to 20 or more depending on the comments generated by your content!

But for SEO juice is there a certain amount that helps? I want to know how much time I should spend with the Site Comments feature. How many credits I should use on each post of mine. This part takes up most of my time I don't want to spend too much time if it is not needed.

I tried to use hello bar and others like it but it covers my websites menu. Are there any free email capture popups or bars that you know of? I like the one called Sumo but the

Personally I avoid all popups and Google is beginning to penalizing them on mobile devises.

I would put an Opt in form at the bottom of each post.

I would avoid all popups, except perhaps on exit, as Google is already penalising them on mobile and has stated they will follow suit on other platforms.

I've found that embedding an email providers form between a post and comments has worked the best.

You can use the Header & Footer plugin to do that if you don't wish to edit code. https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer/

Is the bar at the top of a website ok? like the hello bar?

Yes, as long as it doesn't block content, then it's currently fine. :)
