We all signed up her at Wealthy Affiliate for one of a few reasons...
1. Freedom: We wanted to own our time and stop building someone else dream and start building our own!
2. Supplemental Income: You have another job that you enjoy (I do, I am a Youth Pastor, and I LOVE IT!) But i think we could all use some extra money, right?
or
3. No other option: I get paid to be a Youth Pastor, but its not much. Not even enough to pay all of the bills. I was very blessed a few years to have been a young 20 something year old who owned his own successful Online Personal Training and Bootcamp company back in Florida, but when my wife and i chose to move out to Colorado, i was forced to let that business go. I was not able to sell for a profit because it was not established well enough and it was only myself doing it.... I won't let that happen again.
I (will soon) have a wife to provide for now, and Wealthy Affiliate is a way for me to achieve long term financial freedom and still provide for her and my future family...BUT, just because it is an "online business" does not mean that i will work any less to build this business as i did to build my bootcamp!
Like i said at the beginning, building an online business will take just as much work as it takes to build a business with brick and mortar!! You have to HUSTLE!! And i dont mean that you have to hustle PEOPLE, but you have to hustle yourself! Work, work, work!!! Don't stop! This isn't going to be easy, and Kyle and Carson never said it was going to be easy!! Its going to be difficult, but SOOOOOO worth it!! Who would LOVE to be able to fly to Cancun, sit on the beach, right a blog post and make $2,000 off that post? I would!! But you have to put in the time!! Focus producing quality content to simply reach 1 person at a time, and soon enough, you'll be reaching thousands!!!

A great post Jayme. You have the awareness of the need for hard and continuous work, and this will stand by you life-long. It was a pity you had to let your business go, but with your strong mind and the experience you already have, you will do well with your online business.

Well said. It is like anything in life if you want something to be a succes, you will have to work at it ! It will come over time, just be patient and don't get discourged.
Yes, it's a lot of hard work but it's worth it :)
