Honestly, I have not seen any in my time here, but I'm sure someone has done it. It doesn't mean you can't pursue your niche idea, because your cartooning skills are very unique.

I think it would be a great niche and you should definitely do it! I remember the old days when we would watch Saturday morning cartoons all day. It would be a niche which would bring back memories for many people. Go for it.
