Hello, everyone, I have a quick question?

I would like to know when you are researching for keywords for your post do you have to always look for keywords that are low

So you " forgot doing Keywords research". Did you think how people are going to find your text? It is hard to rank even with all SEO technics we know. Being ranked means being seen and found.

Unless you are focused only on social media, you should not consider writing a text before having a keyword.

Remember, libraries are full of great stuff but it is useless unless it is available to readers. Your aim should be to rank high. This is the only way for people to find you.

The only exceptions of that are: a) you have yet another highly ranked text which you can use to funnel visitors to the one that is lost in Google's cellars, but this is not so effective, and b) using social media to funnel visitors to the mentioned text.

Hey jvranjes no I didn't forget how to do keyword research I was focusing on writing my post without researching for keywords at the moment I just wanted to know if every time we research for keywords do we always need to look for keywords with low competition?

I was only quoting your own words.

To answer your question, yes, low competition is the only chance, and can tell you it is hard even in that case. Going for high competition keywords is hopeless. Do your SEO properly. Use this training if you have the desire to avoid having posts lost, this was based on my own mistakes, so better learn from mine than from yours

Thanks jvanjes I will take that information on consideration

It's obviously to your advantage to use keywords with low competition... but... don't let that stop you writing whatever is going to be helpful and interesting for your visitors, even if that means sometimes not using keywords at all.

I've seen too many members take a lot of time and effort getting to the #1 position on page #1 of Google for highly competitive keywords, and yet still not earn. The problem? They built websites with content that only a search engine could love, and search engines aren't the ones with wallets! :)

Thank you @rich for your great support I gladly appreciated.

I am focusing a lot on writing my own words content that I totally forgot doing Keywords research but I see what are you saying so it really doesn't matter whether you use keywords or not right

You do need the majority of your content to be keyworded, if not, you're going to struggle to rank and get traffic.

However, if there's a piece of content that doesn't lend itself to keywords, don't reject it simply because there isn't a keyword that fits.

Ok I see thank you for the support @Rich

No probs. you're most welcome! :)
