Forbes Thought of the Day
Just thought I'd share something with you guys today.
I sometimes check out Forbes.com and one of the most interesting things about that site is the little splash screen before you hit the actual content.
It's the thought of the day which is a different quote every day that can give you some motivation or inspiration and even a writing prompt.
I liked the one I saw today from Thomas Edison and I thought about those who might just be about to give up here at WA.
If you've been working on the lessons and giving it your all but still not seeing success, and probably thinking about throwing in the towel, hold on a little while longer.
That first sale might just be around the corner.
As long as you're working towards it, it will come.
What can you do in the meantime?
- Ask a question in live chat
- Post a discussion in the classroom
- Reach out to someone via private message
- Watch a Live Class recording
- Write a keyword based article for your website
Your success could depend on just one action. I hope this motivates someone to just do at least one more thing before they give up just short of success. .

Your rank # is just a measure of how active you are within the community. The more you interact, post blogs, ask questions, respond to others, the higher your rank will be.
I don't really bother with it because it doesn't make me money. I just do what I have to do within the community and whatever my rank says I'm ok with.
You can see the top 200 most active people on WA by clicking on the Rank button next to your profile pic at the top of the site. These people post regular blogs and help out within WA on a daily basis.
Again, don't worry to much about your rank.
Don't get distracted. You only need a minimum of 30 minutes each day to get something done here. Focus on the courses. How far are you on course 1?
Jay. I am glad that I took today off from working on my stuff. I have 2 websites away from WA that I have been working on and off with for about two years and have not made anything yet. The one I am building at WA; is a little over six months old and still nothing. I have quit more than once as well; just giving up. Thanks for the "kick me" to renegotiate my goals because I was ready to quit again tonight. Thank you, thanks. Rene'

Working on your site and seeing nothing coming in. I can imagine that would make anyone want to give up. Maybe you can ask Kyle to give your site a look over and have him offer you some suggestions for improvement. Thats one of the perks of premium membership.
There's always a better option than giving up once you know something can work.
Wow Jay...love this! it really is surprising how alot of us can give up just as we are about to make it and I know as I feel like that alot of the times, its about faith and like Arnold Schwarnegger said 'never listen to the nayyers! just keep believing in your vision right? :)
Forbes overall is a great magazine, worth to read. They have Twitter and offer great insights. Thanks for thought of day, happy Sunday:)

This was definitely meant for me today (03/11/2015).
Goes to show how relevant that quote has been everyday since Thomas Edison said it, through the day that you read to now when I get to respond to your blog.
