I had a domain already with godaddy. I went in per the instructions and changed the name servers to point to the two on WA as directed. Godaddy said great, give it 24 hours.
Cramervod is right, but it may also be that when you search for your website you browser is taking you to an earlier destination associated with that url. Clear your browser history and try searching for your domain again.
There are currently a few issues being worked on here. So it may have transferred already but won't be available til things get fixed here.
Well this stinks. Meanwhile my website was fine and as soon as I redirect my domain, now it's down. Grrrr.... everything was fine until I joined WA Premium and starting monkeying with something that already working fine. Hoping this isn't the normal here at WA. Please tell me it's not.

Help, my domain is no longer working?

my advice is to start a support ticket. The WA support team is AWESOME! it is one of the reasons I recommend WA over everything. They could sort this out is five seconds flat. Good luck! Deb

So is this my website?
gooddog.siterubix.com
Looks a little unprofessional. Is there a way to shorten or change it.... like to blahblahblah.com instead of having t
This is your URL, or domain name. The only way to change (eliminating the "SiteRubix" aspect) it is to buy a domain name through WA or another registrar. If you buy it elsewhere, the DNS must be pointed to ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com
However, if you are getting started I would stick with the free SiteRubix domain for now. Or buy another one and learn on the SiteRubix domain. More info on a recent blog I wrote at Tips for Newbies and Old Heads Like Me Even with a SiteRubix domain, you can still change your Site Title, though the URL will remain the same. Here is a screenshot of one of the sites I manage. Hope this helps! :-)
Thanks so much! Lots to learn, I already have a real domain so I haven't gotten to that part in training yet. Continuing to plug along here.... thanks again!!

Not sure where you are at in the training, but check this out. How to Transfer a SiteRubix Website to Your Own Domain
Yep, just jumping the gun and haven't gotten there in training. This question came up when I was creating the 'about me' post and Kyle said to add your url in your signature. Thanks! I'll just keep plodding along here in the training.... slow going for this 'old dawg' LOL. Thanks again
U have to purchase your domain if want a .com site and u need to be a premium member to host your own .com. A domain costs about $15 per year. The siterubix subdomains are free, but will still work and get traffic. They just tend to take a little longer to rank and gain authority than your own .com site. And no u cannot shorten it.
Here is an article on how well a siterubix can do. Siterubix sites can get traffic. Boy can they get traffic. Hope this helps. :)

Carson has already commented that they are on it. Issues with jaaxy and live chat?
