What has been proven to me yesterday!
Hey guys
I've been watching Jay's video on Webmaster tools (I still have to finish it all)
And from playing around with it I have learned that the phrase "Content is King", i the most true thing you will ever learn here. If you forget many things here you should never forget that.
I have seen the proof. Although my rankings are not spectacular but from looking at the stats, I have learned that the more content you add the more your other posts (overall) will rank. I have some really old posts that have just started to rank.
So keep that phrase in your head.
"Content is king".
And I know now that all I need to do is keep doing what I am doing to make my income grow.

Hi Jason, it wasn't until I joined WA and went through the training that I realised how vital it is to consistantly build your content for your website. Everytime I hear or read 'content is king' I always picture a shelf full of encyclopedias :)
Alright then, let me ask the "paradoxical" question
But before I do, allow me to quote you, Jason:
"...I have learned that the more content you add the more your other posts (overall) will rank.."
Does that mean one could, say, compose and post a dozen or so blogs related to niche pertaining to the site, AND THEN, go ballistic in composing and posting hundreds of other blogs that are not so "very much" related to the niche in hand?
For example, let's say that the niche/site is about IM/Making Money Online, and after having posted valuable content about the mentioned niche, one would post HUNDREDS of blogs about, for example, the importance of maintaining an excellent health, and/or, about esoteric knowledge, and/or social taboos, and/or the power of the spoken word, and/or a current event, etc etc etc?
Will the INTERESTING content of the MANY not-very-related post help rank the dozen post about the niche in hand?
Thank you,
John
Well I don't really know about going balistic posting non related stuff and personally wouldn't recommend it. If you check out my site you will find all my articles are related to my niche which is smartphones and I also did one spin off article about Amazon but kept it as niche related as possible.
Hi Jason,it's a strong phrase u got there ..."content is king " and I strongly agree to that ,contents are definetely important for having a website ...good luck!
