8 Posts In A Day.

Whew...

8 posts in a single day.

Only, I wish they were newly published posts.

I took a few hours today going back over some of my older posts this afternoon and encourage you to do the same.

I came across a lot of posts that contained things I personally can't stand when visiting other websites.

Huge blocks of text, outbound links on my page that would open in the same tab, huge H1 headings all throughout, to name a few.

Hell, some of my posts even had no title showing. Don't ask lol.

Have a look for yourself:

Before

After

As you can see in the before picture, there was way too much bold being used, a cluster of text, and overall the content was very uneasy to read.

With a slight few changes, I feel that the content is easier to take in, better written, and more visually appealing.

What do you think?

What I did was sign into Google Analytics, found my most popular pages over the last month, and started making adjustments to these.

The goal of this is to create a better experience for visitors, provide better information, and hopefully as a result, see more conversions.

We'll see how it goes :)

As time goes on, it's only natural that we become more informed and 'better' if you will, in our respective niches.

Consider going back and making the adjustments to reflect this.

Have a nice Labor Day and chat soon!

Keep busy.

I read your title, and thought, "8 posts in a day!!! That's intense!"

Your revision looks so much better, Jason. I remember Kyle talked about blocks of texts in Course 5 of the Certification. When I finished that lesson, I immediately spent hours going through my posts to clean it up. I t really does make a difference.

So...now that you have cleaned up your older posts, how about writing those 8 posts, Jason, lol!!!

I need to lol!

I have a hard enough time producing 8 in a week. I agree though, it does make a difference.

Wonderful tips. Thank you bro.

Tristen

You're welcome!

A brilliant idea. Looking back gives you an ability to see things in a new light. Improvement often follows!

We'll see how it goes. Thanks, Michael.

Awesome, thank you, Sir!

Not a problem, Gary.

Thank you for the info. I had not thought of checking up on posts that I had previously published.

Consider setting some time aside to do this. I would start with the pages that get the most visits.

It's a great way to test different things as well. Such as call to actions, affiliate links vs links to your review pages, etc.

Good luck!

Great tips! I'll remember to do this once I have a good amount of posts on my site. Thanks :)

You're welcome. Yeah some of these were written well over a year ago.

Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

Not a problem.

I always read your blogs as it is always full of useful ideas.

Thanks. I appreciate that!

Very good thinking, brother. I've done this in the past and almost cringed and what I was seeing as my "before" lol. Just goes to show how incredible this training is. We grow up fast! lol

Ha! Yes, this is something that was long overdue.

I did get the chance to read your post within WA from earlier. Well done, Eric.

More to come!

Thanks, brother!
