What's actually important
Interesting isn't it... referring to work as a matter of the heart....
Is that how you feel about your job? Your work? Do you wake each morning with a desire to leap out of bed and do what you do?
Or do you do the job to make needed money while waiting for something better to come along?
Just a thought....a brief one...2% battery lol...
To be continued 😂😂😂....

Doing something you love is half the battle Jason, the other half is showing up every day and the other half is....................oh, wait a minute, how am I going to fit the education, tools and training into a half that doesn't exist?
Oh well, you know what I mean...don't be a round peg in a square hole!

Hi Jason I love Steve Jobs quotes he really got it I think.
And even if your passion for a topic may change, the fact that you recognise you like working in marketing or for yourself is what's really important, because from there you can move in a number of different directions and still be passionate and productive.
Very good points, JasonGB. While Steve Jobs expressed his thought articulately, I wonder how many of us can actually be passionate towards something to a superlative degree. What further complicates the matter is that one's passions can change over time; I know that for a fact because it happened to me. At one time, I was extremely passionate, even obsessed in software development, but that passion dwindled over the years; what was once an activity that filled me with excitement and alacrity has now dwindled to a laborious activity of repetitive details and drudgery.
It is, in my humble opinion, that regardless of the degree of passion, it will always be at risk of dwindling. So I would like to add to what you have correctly expounded on -- that once one has found his/her passion, It is paramount to place oneself in an environment where you are surrounded by people of the same passion. Zeal is contagious. While the success of others might sometimes reinforce the pain of one's own failures, it simultaneously serves as a reminder that success is indeed attainable and will strongly contribute to one's resilience.
That is why I joined WA. I do like affiliate marketing, but I can't say I'm overly passionate about it. (I'll probably LOVE it and be ECSTATIC once I start making money.) I know I will have my share of bumps along the way, and I'm relying on the enthusiasm of others to keep me inspired during those times. When I observe people working very hard to attain their goals, it reminds me that hard work is a key ingredient to success, and it encourages me to work just as hard or harder. The inverse is true as well, that if you surround yourself with lazy, demotivated and negative people, you will get deflated and defeated very quickly.
I laud the points you have discussed, good blog!
Many thanks and wonderfully accurate. I too spent many yesrs working passionately and loving my career....then sadly life intercepted and what was once so important became not so. 24 months blinded and lost. Now back with life and loving the original pathway again.
It is the passion and the people that ultimately saved me.

You are on point! When you really love what you do it doesn't feel like work when you're doing it!
Absolutely. I'm super excited today. Just gained my Usui Reiki Master practitioner and teacher status. The way up is awesome....xxx
