Just Getting Back to WA
What A Long Journey
I'm so happy to have finally found my way back home. I started with WA a few years ago and found success in the first year. Everything was rolling along and I even shut out all the haters. I had never made a dime online until I found Wealthy Affiliate. Seemed like no matter how much I made people were still saying I would fail. After some back surgery I started to slowly fall away and believe all the haters. Long story short I bailed on my business for a year. I got caught up in the here and now and lost focus on my dreams. I became addicted to the medicine given to me by doctors and lost all hope. Feeling myself falling fast.
My Comeback
While still generating some sales my faith was still low. Just recently my son came to me and asked what ever happened to my online business because he remembered me making money and he was interested in making a website together. Feelings of embarrassment and failure overcame me. How did I let myself fall this far? Looking up from the bottom of the hill I remembered that WA had cut out all the steps in the mountain, all I had to do was climb it. I told him my site was still up and running and that I would love to build a site together. We got started immediately and picked his favorite interest (Golf). I also got straight to work on my website and wrote a new post.
So What Happened?
Within minutes, we got a website for our new niche and began developing content. This is the beginning stage of the new website. My little post that I wrote got listed and ranked within 2 weeks. Website traffic is growing steadily and conversions are happening. I Thank God that he sent my son to snap me out of my rut and also for leading me here to WA. I can't look in the rear view and reflect on all that wasted time, but I am looking forward. Business is up to par and life is beautiful. Thank you all for being a part of this awesome community.

I identify with that, not because of direct intervention from my son but from my feelings of failure towards him, my daughter. and ex-wife.
This is my second attempt on WA, having failed to achieve anything first time around just as I failed them on so many counts. This now is my chance to show them that I can pull myself out of the hole I have dug and get my feet back on that solid ground.

The lord works on his time, not ours. I found there is always a lesson to be learned., even though the toughest times. I have never been forsaken.
Jason I couldnt agree more. Yes He has been there for me in so many ways even tho i have often not been there for Him.
He never forsakes or leaves us ..
