After being exposed to COVID on November 25th, having two bad days and one spending a day at hospital.

Now a week later, my test shows negative!

I followed what doctor said to do and make sure to take vitamins! Even listen to some WAers advice.

My daughters test who lives me came back as negative, but she still coughing bad and refuses take vitamins! She just asked me, why I don't stay sick like she does and her daddy? My answer was I try take care of myself, and you two our stubborn don't want to listen. She went back in her bedroom, shut door locked it!

Now when my husband comes back from work today, I hope his test is negative as well. Yes, he still worked says he not around people driving a truck. He refuses to take vitamins as well.

Every time a virus or flu comes around, my husband and daughter that lives with us gets sick and takes them a while to get better. One word for them (Stubborn).

With all my other underlying health conditions, I try to take care of myself.

Happy to hear that you are getting better Jannette and we all have those stubborn ones in the family my friend!

Take care ok and enjoy the rest of your weekend! :-)

Great news Jannette! I’m glad your testing negative and that your feeling better!

-Mike

Yes, me too. I've been cleaning a little every couple hours. I do not want to overdo it!

Don’t push yourself — give yourself a chance to regain it’s strength.

It's amazing news Jannette! I am glad you are feeling better!!!!

Honestly, tell your daughter and husband (as stubborn as they are, to be equally stubborn by insisting and showing them the great benefits that vitamin supplements do to our body). It is not a myth! It definitely helps.

My husband and daughter used to be VERY STUBBORN in refusing to take vitamin supplements. They both have seen the ramifications of NOT TAKING THEM. Last year, the 3 of us got the COVID at the same time. I was the only one that was mildly sick, while both of them were severely sick. Then they realized why (as I also keep nagging them about why I was not so sick and they are!)

So now, after my consistent NAGGING of taking the vitamins, whenever they are having their breakfast or lunch or dinner, I keep reminding them to "TAKE YOUR VITAMINS!" (I understand, it is tiring to do that to grown ups, but sometimes it is the only things that works!!!!)😃

They refuse to drink water and only drink soda! I expressed that they need water, My daughter saw this Tuesday when they could not find a vein on her arm for the infusions, and the nurse told her to drink water. She flat out sad no to water also!

Wow! I bet she got stuck more than necessary, as it is a challenge to find vein for a patient who is sick and dehydrated!

If you can make them to drink as much liquid as is necessary ~ soup, hot coffee/tea, at least it can help her get fluids in her system.

You are experiencing a challenge in this situation, I am sorry!

Very awesome, indeed, Jannette! Very good that you are taking care of yourself! I am one of those stubborn ones!

I don't know how to insert a smiling face, but you made me smile with your honesty.

Jannette

Thank you. Jannette! 😁

I use a PC, so I right click the mouse and emojis are at the top!

Hi Jannette. Great news your test shows negative for covid. Happy days.
I hope hubby gets the same result and your daughter heeds your advice and stops being stubborn. Mind you if she's in her teens you may have a while to wait!

Have a great weekend.

Best,
Paul

No, she is 24 but acts like she is in her stubborn teens. The fact that she knows better, and laughs at me when I try to express my concerns makes me upset. She works a retail job around others, still doesn't care.

Hi Jan.

Don't get upset - it's kids for you. One older lady I know has a 50-year-old son. He still acts in the same way like he's 16.

Best wishes Paul

You are correct, Jannette. In this case, taking care of yourself is done by keeping your Immune System Up and Healthy. The easiest way to do that is to take Vitamins, especially Vitamin C. There are others that can help also.

Here are two Products I have used in the past. But, before I list them a word of WARNING.

BE SURE THAT YOU (anyone looking into these products) ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO "ANYTHING" IN THEM. THEY ARE MULTI-VITAMIN, MULTI-MINERAL, AND MULTI-HERBAL. The Herbs are where I think the allergy risk comes in. So be sure to check with your Pharmacist and/or Doctor.

Brand: Michaels

Product#1: Quick Immune Response

Product#2: Immune System Factors

They worked great for me. But I do not have any allergies to speak of, just dust and pollen.

Hope this helps. And anyone that looks into them, PLEASE be careful and Heed My Warning.

Blessed Be.

Yes, with my underlying conditions, I don't take anything without asking my primary care physician. However, my Husband and daughter is different even if they can take these that you mentioned they will not probably as they are stubborn.

Do you have any suggestions or ideas for dealing with stubbornness? As I keep telling them, they are putting me at risk of catching all viruses and flus, which can lead to me being hospitalized, but they will not listen.

Not really, no. Sorry. It is hard to get through to someone like that. I wish I did. Blessed Be. JD
