Blogging on WA is not into the drain

I have always been straight forward and honest to you all. And I never disguised my insecurities.
The reward of that has been so many of you great folks reach out to me, in every possible way. Offering help, Follow advice, friendship and expertise.
I will not give names here. But I feel that I have to thank one person particularly. He reached out, knowing his expert knowledge was exactly what I needed. He offered his time, knowledge, affection and help and for the first time in life, I felt like just accepting it.
I just accepted and went for it. It has given me exactly what I needed and continues to do so.
So why am I telling you?
Because, if you are honest, just yourself, offer what you have and ask for more, it is going to come to you. You do not have to earn it. You just be yourself and people who can profit from your knowledge will find you and people who are further along the way and can help you, will find you as well.
So don't you worry, let it be, let yourself be, and show up for life's appointment. No better time than now! With all your worries, doubts and questions. Show up and be yourself.
Follow the gifts that are given to you,
Acknowledge and enjoy,
Love

I’m very happy for you that you have been able to share your issues and get help. My own experience with my mental illnesses (yes more than one), has not been so favourable. I’m not suggesting that you have a mental illness, I don’t know your situation. I do know that I’m plagued with a lot of stigma and in general, misunderstanding. I’m belittled and made fun of because people are ignorant about what is wrong with me. I don’t tell most people and I don’t want to say anymore because of the attached stigma. Although I’m not ready to talk about it, I’m glad that you can discuss your issues. Maybe one day I will feel comfortable too. Thank you so much for sharing.
Always,
Ian
My philosophy is based on my own experiences in life and what I know to be true from personal experience over many years - that is we all have something we can share and we can teach and we all still have much to learn at the same time.
Thanks for your post!

Btw. I read you're a tour guide in Italy? We're planning a 4 month trip to the Mediterranean next fall and Italy is on our list. Would love to hear any recommendations. I've been to Cinque Terre, Lucca and Florence but that's about it. We are looking for something a bit more secluded but need to have at least an internet connection you know ;)
