There's a lot of choice when it comes to social sharing plugins and I wonder if anyone has a particular recommendation please?

I use the Paulund Facebook Like Box to connect to my Facebook page. It has nice display options to show faces and is an easy widget to use and implement. I also use the Tweet, Like, Plus1 in all of my post, but the Like box is a widget on the right of my page.
I like the "Tweet, Like, Plus One" plugin. Seems to work ok pretty universally. I have had problems with several other plugins depending on the theme I used. Avoid sociable like the plague.

Up for Wordpress it has four social buttons and also offer an incentive for users to use them. If they use them they will get points to redeem them for gifts.

I haven't tried it yet but, from what Evelyn is saying, you have to be VERY careful. Hope you get it sorted, Janice!
You probably missed a step. . Maybe these steps will help you, because I remember when I first did it, I was getting the same error.
1. Wealthy Affiliate VS enter name
2. make sure you clicked all checks or X marks there should be 10
3. did you select yes or no on the opponents recommendation
4. overall ranking you have to rank WA and the opponents
5. Where it says button text enter a phrase
6. button link and open in new window are optional
7. click preview and it should work

This is a great question and needs a well qualified answer, though I believe you will find that there is no one 'best' solution. What I would suggest is that you add into the mix the question of how you are going to keep customer emails, so essential for your list.

Hi Janice, if you go to your sites plugins search and type in shopping cart. you will have a wide choice of carts that you can use The PayPal cart is there as a plug in. Of course if you are only doing the one product, you could just have a PayPal buy button on the page that you advertise the download on. No cart needed then.

In time I will create more audios although a simple system that minimizes steps for the buyer is preferable.

My preference (for complete independence and security) is DL Guard - http://www.dlguard.com/dlginfo/index.php. A little bit of techie competence is useful in the set up (on your own domain) although they have excellent support if you get stuck.

How do you select what category you want your page to appear in on Google or does Google suss that from the words in your article description.
I choose a keyword that I want to write a page or article around. As long as I know there is a search for it of about 500+ per month AND where possible I find low competition AND I include my keyword in the title of the page or post PLUS I mention that keyword 3 times in my page content (no need to overdo it - too much and Google see's it as keyword stuffing) I let Google do the rest.
I will also add a picture and add the keyword to that picture.
Posting your page or post to Google+ is very good because it's in Google's self-interest to promote your content. It's as simple as that! The tricky bit is finding a good keyword but the WA keyword tool is great resource to help you. You just have to be patient and I ALWAYS have the intention of finding a good keyword. Avoid negative thoughts such as "this is difficult" and instead see it as a game of hunt and seek!
It just takes practice and very quickly you will get the hang of it. Does this answer your question? If I can be of further help just ask!

It just takes a little while to get your head out of overwhelm... I've been there too. Just have a go and do something. Nothing is set in stone and like anything you learn you'll perfect your art with practice.
Just think of an idea you want to write about, pop that word into the keyword tool and see what comes up. Check out the term suggestions in the left column, do they make sense if you were to use it in a sentence? Is there at least 400-500 people searching for it a month?
Then put that keyword term into Google search and see how much competition there is. if it's ridiculously high look for another variant of the search term. By doing this you will get ideas from the search terms you see listed on the Google page.
Decide that you will only spend 5 minutes searching before making a decision, then just create some content. You never know where it may show up and just make sure you post it to your Google+ account.
All the best, you can do it, everyone starts knowing nothing so just keep going :)
