Upgrade to Yearly Subscription Member Fee
I join WA as Premium Member in monthly subscription basis in August 2019 after started off as Free Member for a short period only. And I have just upgrade myself to yearly subscription member fee yesterday 16th Oct 2019.
It is not easy for me to make this decision due to my current financial situation. In fact, I want to start into yearly subscription basis earlier but at that time my financial situation doesn't allow. Therefore, I have put on hold first and monitor my cash flow first and waiting for chance to upgrade.
Any Kind Of Business Always Need Time To Build & Grow
I never believe in success and getting rich overnight or within a short period unless you strike lottery. If you are talking about doing business it definitely take time.
If we are talking about doing physical business like opening a real shop, cafe, restaurant, etc; we always must give at least 3 years time. Unless your business is really very good from the start, there is a possibility within a year you can start making real profit after you have recovered all your capital.
If we are talking about online business which the capital and overhead is definitely much lower compare with a physical business, it still need to take time for the business to build and grow especially if you are new in it.
Building up a Business is like building up a Building. Have you ever see how the construction of work go to build up a building? Do you see a tall and high building overnight from a flat soil ground? No! Do you know how much foundation work have to do before a tall and high building is up? How much manpower involve and sweat in there before the building is up!
But when the tall and high building is in front of your eyes and you know you are involved in this project, you will still feel good, happy and satisfy even for the hard work and sweat in it.
Why I Choose To Upgrade To Yearly Subscription Member Fee
So by knowing that to build an online business will take time, I will have to give it at least one year time. Maybe I will need more than one year time depend on the amount of time I can put in to work on it and the speed of learning.
I'm completely new baby here and I have no Information Technology background. Therefore, there are lot of things I need time to digest slowly and try to understand and figure out. Too many things to learn here! And couldn't give enough time to spend on it with my current full time job and part-time freelance job.
In fact, I have give up one of the part-time job which will take up at least 5 - 6 hrs a day just to earn a SGD50-60 only in order to come out extra time to work on my online business. Since I'm paying the Member Fee, I must at least make it worth right? I cannot be paying a member fee and not working on it.
And also due to my current financial situation, how much income in a month will be all out in a month. Therefore, I have to really study my cash flow closely before I make any decision on increasing my monthly expenses.
Yearly Subscription Member Fee Help To Save Much More
Let me do a calculation here. For a yearly subscription member fee USD359 if divide by 12 months, monthly fee is about USD30. So compares to the monthly subscription member fee USD49, I actually save USD19 monthly and USD228 in a year if I take up the yearly subscription member fee.
The difference of USD19 monthly does matter to people who has tight cash flow monthly. And to be able to save USD228 in a year even more matter!
And if you take USD228 of what you save yearly and divided by USD30 the monthly fee, it actually about 8 months subscription fee here! So in other words, the yearly subscription member fee can helps me save 8 months subscription fee!
So another way of thinking it is I just need to pay another 4 more month subscription fee will allow me to renew another one more year subscription member fee!
Study Your Forecast Cash Flow First Before Making Decision
You can do a forecast of 3 to 6 months Cash Flow. Just a simple Cash Flow. No need to be too complicated.
Basically a Cash Flow is you make a list of all your monthly income and a list of all your monthly expenses. The difference of both list will be able to help you to decide what you need to do and can do.
Take for my example. I upgrade to Premium Member in Aug 2019. I have started on a monthly subscription basis because I want to learn more about WA before I decide is WA the right place for me to start my online business for long term.
After as a Premium Member for about 2 weeks, I have decided that WA is the right place for me to stay on to learn and at the same time to build my online business. And I have learned that yearly subscription fee helps me to save much more in long term after doing all the above calculation.
However, I realize I didn't have the enough money to pay for the yearly subscription fee base on my Cash Flow at that time of period.
I told myself this is temporary situation only. I will do my best to improve the Cash Flow by increasing the income and cutting down on expenses in order to make that extra few hundred dollars to pay the yearly subscription fee.
Once I able to pay the yearly subscription fee, I don't have to worry anymore about the extra monthly expenses in my Cash Flow for at least one year!
Be Positive and No Worry!
I actually didn't expect I can pay my yearly subscription fee that soon! In fact, I didn't stress out myself too much by giving myself deadline to meet. Just do your best. Be positive and no worry!
I just tell myself I just need to hang on to it and continue with WA to learn even I cannot pay the yearly subscription fee also doesn't matter.
If one day I able to pay the yearly subscription fee is a bonus to me because it helps me to save in long term!
So actually don't have to worry too much. Things will come your way if you have a positive mindset. Just do your best, never give up and go with the flow...:-)
All the best to everyone with WA!
