You Think You Can't Write? WRONG!
Today I decided to take a walk back to my older posts and see how they are. I knew I needed to breathe in some new life into them.
And what I saw! (mouth agape)
Bad,bad, writing
As much as I am proud that it is my work back there and I cannot even claim that I have now become a writing GURU, but I can tell you I have come a long way!
Goodness.
I noticed that I need a lot of time to update my posts. No problems.

This brings me to the issue that many new Wealthy Affiliate Members struggle with.
I believe a lot of people join this platform without fully understanding the "nature of business" here. I am talking about the need to constantly produce quality content.
That is the backbone of your business. There is no avoiding it. But it really isnt as scary as it looks.
Upon realizing some people get scared and literally sign out because they feel like they just cannot hack it.
I am not a writer, I did not sign up for this.
Not a writer? No Problem
If you are the new guy and you have fears about writing, I urge you to please hold tight and follow the WA training. There's none like WA.
Write write write...
Trust me the more you do it, the more comfortable you will become, Without even realizing it.
Just keep writing.
I always refer people who ask, to my experience when I first started here, almost a year ago. I used to take 7 good days to finish a 1000 word post. Yes.
So please don't get discouraged.
WRITE ON.
Wishing you all a productive week ahead.
Jane

I remember in college writing my first sample of wtriting toward a journalism degree. An atrticle on the girls lacrosse team in their season opener. I have nothing against lacrosse: it’s fine game, but I’ve never even watched a game of lacrosse. I had no idea what to write. My roommate got quickly tired of all my contortions and grunts of frustrations rather soon and told me to describe what happened in the game. Unknown to me, he was writing down everything I said. WhenI finished he handed me the notebook and, “Here’s your article. Clean it up a little, but there’s the essence ’s block. Just write what’s in your head?

I have found that when I write about something I deeply care about it just flows...as you write think about topics you care about. I also find it helpful to start off writing down 3 or 4 key points you want to expand on and then start writing...be patient with it...create your masterpiece!
Yes, it is a good idea to look back at those previous posts and update them. Our writing evolves!
Have a great week, Jane.

Hi I find myself looking at my first few post and wincing. I already see pretty big flaws in couple. .
Good advice. We read books, journals, recipes, emails, etc...All of us utter jokes (good & bad), hold conversations, and are blessed with a vocabulary.
WE HAVE IT IN US!
As in most things, it begins with a single step. Make the effort today! Then try tomorrow, and again, and again. It will get easier each time.
Regards,
Billy
I'm a bit scared to go back and look. So I'm going to procrastinate for a little while longer and then I'll have a look.
Thanks for the great post...I am constantly going back to check my posts...I am making it a weekly task!! Cheers

What you say is truth. The only way I know to become a better writer is to practice writing.
Very true Fran. Thanks
