You know when you are surfing the internet for information and doing research you come across certain things that are like magnets.

It's as if your eyes automatically go to the area that your mind is thinking about.

Well I did that today and found a free SEO checker, so I thought I would share it here with everyone. I would like to know if it is acurate.

I have been getting a lot of conflicting data about my website. So I just really only take notice of google analytics now.

Here is the website:

I agree with the advice given so far and I would also like to add that submitting your site too random 'free' tools like this can lead to spam whether its comments, traffic, etc.

But I like that you're trying new things and sharing.

Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Janet,
I agree with Smokeywins that maybe you should just focus mostly on GA. There results are nice to compare but don't beat yourself up over it. Trust more the GA.

Thx Elaine,

Thank you for the share Janet. Just wondering if that site is fishing. The ones who can increase your web speed for X amount of dollars.

Yes, I had the same thoughts, so let's stick to GA.

To be honest, I would be a bit skeptical about this site. They are in the business of Digital Marketing, so I can't help but wonder if their results would be skewed to show that you need their services to achieve results.

I'd stick with Jaaxy, and google analytics. If you did your research right, you already know what your primary keyword is, and with Jaaxy's "Site Rank" it will tell you exactly where you rank for that specific keyword.

Yes, that's exactly what I thought. I wondered if some of these sites skew as you said the figures so we will invest in their services.

I will stick to Google Analytics and Jaaxy as I said previously.

Thank you

Janet

Thanks Janet!
I too have been getting conflicting information.
I appreciate your sharing.

It's really confusing when the information you are given conflicts with another.
I will stick to Google Analytics
Thx for replying
Janet.

Wow thanks Janet, I will go over it again. This time with more keywords. (didn't put all of them in) I will do it again.

Great stuff thank you! Oh and so humbling. Need some work on
my site to get it up to standards.

That's not a problem, glad it helps you.
Thx for replying
Janet

I read your results, with your conversation with Nsilva2270.
Hmmm... OK, I will ask site support about my site.

thank you Janet.

It was SEMRUSH, not this tool that got it wrong.
Sorry for the confusion.

Regards Janet

Ohh, OK, thank you for the heads up.

Wow!. That's a pretty cool website. It gives me a lot of feedback about how I can improve my site. Thanks.

I am not sure if these tools are accurate, I did a scan with semrush the other day. The scan showed that one of my pages was not visible or uncrawlable and to contact site support, which I did. Site support came back saying that nothing was wrong. So who do I believe? It's hard to fathom out who is correct, but I am inclined to take site support's answer as correct.

It is a pretty cool tool just hope it's accurate.

Regards

Janet
