I chose the blogtay theme because of the cool background. I can't figure out how to put the images I want in the places I want. Is anyone familiar with this theme? If so can yo
Hi there,
You can add images in a number of places:
- The theme background
- Posts and Pages
- Sidebars
- Header and Footer
In posts and pages you use the 'Add media' button in the editor.
In sidebars you would use a widget (either a text widget or an HTML widget)
In the Header and Footer: Most themes give you the option to add a 'Header image' - you will find this option in the 'Customisations' section - but you could also use widgets if these areas are 'widgetised' in your theme.
Otherwise you would need to edit the Header or Footer templates.
If you can let us know where you want to add images it will be easier to be more specific.
Cheers,
Martin.
Hi James,
I'm not familiar with this particular theme, but you should be able to add background images in your customize view.
I hope it helps.
Cheers,
Vincent
