My WA Affiliate Website
I have just reffered my second person to WA so I'm very happy 10weeks or so into building my website and I am starting to see a few people come through. My site itself doesn't seem to generate much traffic at all so im thinking what I have on the site is working but at the moment im not getting ranked very well. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and some comments on my pages would be super. www.buildingaffiliatewebsite.com

Very nice site, well organized and good info. Just advertise the url everywhere you can especially on social sites, I use iamfaceplate, apsense, ibotoolbox and other networking sites like linkedin. You have to brand yourself and your site. I think the gian WA banner was a liitle over the top could affect ranking but not a big deal if you promote your url. That is the secret to traffic.
Great site i left you a comment. There are a few issues with grammar but all in all well done.
Have a great day!
Regarding proofread, there are some useful and cheap tools on the market. I'm using Proofbot plugin, you'll find the link on my website.
Looks very nice, plain and simple, but very informative. I like how you made the content of it, I really do. Also it would be a nice idea to review WA. Keep up the good work!
Oh so clean and simple. I like the presentation and simplicity of your content. Stay in there, remember it's a journey. The fact that you've got two persons means that it is possible to get more. Use the info which you receive to your advantage. The rain doesn't always start with a heavy downpour. All the best :-)
Hi Jamie
Well done for getting your site up and running and getting your second referral. Good job.
Here's some thoughts on your site:
1. I clicked on the link you have above. If I had just been a visitor I would have left immediately. Why? Because one of my pet dislikes is ungrammatical keyword phrases. Beginners Guide Affiliate Marketing. Where's the 'to'? I would never use a phrase like this - it doesn't give you credibility.
2. Use of keywords - make sure that you use it naturally within a sentence. It often jars as it does on Beginners guide....
3. Editing - You need to run through and edit your pages - In the post "Beginners Guide Affiliate Marketing" - I noticed 12 errors (including typos and missing punctuation that affects meaning). You don't have to write 'perfect English' - I certainly don't but I think that's too many for one post and could lose you some readers. (I did skim read other pages and picked up quite a lot of errors)
4. I would remove blog traffic on your post. No one cares (apart from you) and I think it is taking up space that could be better used.
5. Adding value - make sure that whenever you post you make it clear that you have answered WIIFM? (What's In It For Me?). In this case the 'Me' is your reader. eg Facebook crashed. As a reader I don't know what I am supposed to learn from this post. Is it something that is relevant for my own affiliate site, is there something I should remember to look out for, does it solve a problem for me....? If a reader goes 'So what?' as I did then there is something missing. In this case it doesn't quite feel complete. That's the case on a couple of your articles.
Hope that is helpful. I think you have the makings of an interesting site. :) Beverley
I have taken off the counter added the "to" tried to sort some of my grammar out and will keep your comments in mind for future posts TY
Hi Jamie,
Just had a look around your site. Not looking too bad. Suggest you proof read before you publish as I found a lot of punctuation errors (missing commas, capital letters at start of sentences) which means the content doesn't flow quite right. Other than that the content is fine.
I would lose the right column on your About Jamie page. No ads make it look cleaner.
You ask for comments, which is good, but your comment icon is at the beginning of your post, not below.
Bit disconcerted by the product reviews (back pack and helicopter) on your blog page.
It seems to be working as you have referrals so keep up the good work and good luck.
Have left a comment. If you would like to reciprocate my site is

Thanks
the backpack and helicopter were a bit of a test wondering how the site was doing on tested it with these products

Great looking website - keeping working at it. Takes time to build traffic and get your site moving. Make sure your getting the URL out there as many places as possible. You are definitely on your way!
