Hi, you can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme.

I have created my website so far i have published 3 articles, the problem I have is when I'm on the website it shows about me pages twice which are incorrect, I have tried to a
Go to your WordPress Dashboard, click on appearance, then menus. Select a menu from the drop down. There may be more than one. Then add or remove options from the menu. Save it. Job done.
Hi, you can go to your WordPress back office posts or pages, quick edit one of the pages to draft or pending review. When all okay, you may as well trash bin it if you like.
You can use the Post Switcher plugin to change your post to page or vice versa.
Since it is a post, you'd find your About me under Posts.
Thank you, I don't know how to use the post switcher plugin yet, but I have managed to remove it as a page, I will hopefully manage to change it to a page once I learn the plugin process.

In posts / pages you find post type, choose what you want and update. Using Post Type Switcher
