My Own Website
I purchased my website today, finally, but I think I made a mistake. See, in the training on creating your own website Kyle mentions not to use dashes in your site. Well I picked one with dashes because it was cheaper. Than I recalled the training and my stomach fell. I am hoping that this does not come back to haunt me.
I plan on eventually purchasing another website with a little different twist. My current website focuses on cell phones and accessories. My next one will be something different. Is that a good thing to do or are you suppose to choose one niche and that it?
I asked the community about my purchase and got some good feedback but any comments you may make will be much appreciated.
I did become an affiliaate for Amazon. I did get indexed in Google with my siterubix site but I am hoping to do so on my own site. Something just tells me in my gut I made a mistake by using one with the dashes. I believe I can create traffic on this site but may take a little more work. I asvertise my site through Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter. I tell my family and friends and they pass it on. So I am building a network and know in time I will be successful.
Thanks to all the training providedby WA I have made much progress in a short time. I am very thankful to you all in that you have been a great help.

Do you mean you have a hyphenated URL, like http://get-clean-water.com or somthing similar?
If so, don't worry about it! Search engines don't care about hyphens (dashes). You'll be fine :)
Hey James,
I wish I had the answers for your website but I don't as I too is in the learning phase, but from my limited experience, whatever you created can be fixed.
Take your time and go through the training material and whatever you don't understand at first, go at it again.
If you asked a question and don't get an answer immediately, continue with your training. You will eventually get it.
Just be patient and remember; Rome wasn't built in a day.
Best wishes to you.
