Hey guys, a quick question. I'm going to target the keyword 'where is the best place to buy Xbox Live'. That exact keyword is included in my title.

Then, like always, I

You can use it just as it is and it would sound totally natural and would be great as is for the meta description. This is what I would write...

Hey all of you Xbox fans! Would you like to know, where is the best place to buy Xbox Live? Well I have the answer for you in this post.

That is 136 characters long and it is perfect for the meta description, which you will not have to type since the All-in-One will use the first 155 characters of your content for the description.

I give you permission to use my example if you want.

Surely you would say 'Would you like to know where the best place to buy Xbox Live is?' if you were being grammatically correct? I guess the actual placement of the keyword in the meta description will mean a lot more to Google, though, so I doubt it matters too much.

Thanks for helping out, I will probably use something similar to that example!

I might just steal your example, actually. Cheers, I owe you one.

It's not stealing since I offered. :) I do this technique with 95% of my posts and Google has so far ranked me high.

btw, using the comma where I did was correct according to MS Word grammar checker. Plus it causes a break just before your keyword.

It does and it does not. To explain, qsr implies the exact phrase. But in reality it may not be working like that. There is no way to know how Google will treat your keyword. I had one with 6 competing pages, so it should be on the top page by definition. Well, it is not.
Type: 'intitle: keyword' in search tab, It will give you competition of all titles which contain your words and others, in any order, and as I said you do not know how Google will treat your post with respect to others.

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it!

No problem. your question is interesting. I am also puzzled with how Google really rank posts.

I guess it's just a matter of experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn't, although methods that work one day aren't guaranteed to work another.

On my website homepage, I have a widget on my sidebar that allows someone to create an account on my website; they can also do this by clicking the 'Join' button at the top of

No you cannot. Unless they give you permission to be added to your mailing list, if you do that you would be spamming their email addresses.

You need to have an optin form on your site where people can be added to your mailing list. Make sure it is double optin, this way they have to confirm they want to be added to your mailing list.

Okay thanks for that, I'll look into setting up an optin-form if I decide to get into email marketing.

when they are users, thy are not getting admin rights have they? be careful of this as they can edit your website. i made this mistake many years ago.

No, they're only given the 'subscriber' role thankfully, lol.

If they are joining and you haven't set up a double opt in you are in a grey area. Technically you should set up a double opt in through your email service and add them to a mailing list.

You can certainly email them and see if you get a response. Most of them will be spammers and scammers. Send out a notification that says thanks for joining my site, I have found many that join aren't really interested in actively participating. Should you wish to be included, please reply to this email.

Basically, you are sending out an opt in notice. Any that you get back, get to remain subscribers.

Okay, thanks for the help.

I believe the process of them making an account on my site is double opt in, as they have to verify their email address afterwards, but there is nothing stating that they will receive any emails, so I guess I would need to create a separate mailing list opt-in form.

I'm not actually using an email marketing service at the moment - they're only registered as 'users' that I can view in my WordPress admin area. Therefore I guess I would need to join an email marketing service if I was to send an email out to all of these users? Also, would I have to manually remove any users that didn't reply to my email?

Thanks again.

Third example:

Second example:

First example:

They look pretty spammy. Do the double opt in message and if they don't respond or do so with a spam message. Poof they are gone. If you are interested in creating a membership site, Try one of the membership plugins to sort out the chaff.

Hey guys, sorry for not being involved much in the community recently! I have been pretty busy with work and any free time that I've had I've been trying to write some website

I'm seeing this in the results:
Will Black Ops 3 be good? Read my first impressions of the game from the beta so you can judge for yourself whether Black Ops 3 is worth buying!

Because All-in-One overrides any other site settings when you apply this in the post. But, the SERPs will bold your meta keywords as you define those separately.

Make sense?

Okay, you're on PAGE 1 of Bing, very cool.

It has your Meta Keywords in Bold as suspected, because you have those set as your meta keywords - which is a little different than you're meta desc.

Okay, confirmed, this is the Meta Description MOZ is seeing:

"Will Black Ops 3 be good? Read my first impressions of the game from the beta so you can judge for yourself whether Black Ops 3 is worth buying!"

Stand by, let me search for the same term you did.

Thanks, what is MOZ may I ask? The term I search is "will black ops 3 be good" and I come up around the second page. I've attached an image showing what the meta description shows.

And yes, that meta description you've noted above is the custom meta description I made which doesn't appear to be showing...

However, I've just realized that instead of the post itself showing up on page two, it is the 'tag' for the post... This may be the problem! But nevertheless, I don't see why Google would show what it is showing?

This is a new post which I published last night, so Google may not have indexed it properly yet, which is why my 'tag' for the post is only showing up and maybe that's why it's not showing my custom meta description?

Silly me, lol.

The first entry in your image is from Reddit - a social media site - and yes, they are big on "tags" - but very effective also.

Obviously, the second entry in your image is the real link to your page and generated by the information I mentioned previously.

These two entries are created totally differently.

Yeah, I wasn't actually bothered about the reddit result, I just had to include it for the image to be large enough to upload to WA... It was the result of the meta description of my post I was trying to emphasize. Thanks for your help and time, though, I appreciate it!

Anytime! Great website BTW!!! Love it!

These are the Meta Keywords:

is black ops 2 good?,is black ops 3 worth buying?,will black ops 3 be good?

Can you provide the link to your page that you mentioned above?

Yes of course, sorry, I forgot to include it! http://awesomeshootergamereviews.com/will-black-ops-3-be-good-impressions-from-the-beta/

Hello,

In order to transfer my website to another host, I was told that I needed to know the following information:

- FTP Hostname, login and password for accessing t

Where you find the information you need to know depends on where your domain is hosted. If you're on SiteRubix then you can find the details as shown here

Okay thanks, I now know where I can find all of the FTP credentials :) The second thing I needed to know: "URL and login credentials of a control panel with database management tool that we can use for exporting your databases, in case your website uses any." Do you think this is just the login and password for my admin area?

There is no cPanel with SiteRubix hosting so your database is inaccessible. You'll need to use Tools==> Export to back up your posts, pages and comments then you can use Tools==> Import after your website is moved. This does not back up your themes, plugins and media. You can do that via FTP as shown in the link I gave you before. FTP does not back up your posts, pages and comments.
