Hi. Is anyone in here familiar with how to pull product from other sites and sell them on your own? I would really like to connect with you and see if you can assist with makin

First, find out what merchants with affiliate programs sell the products you want to promote. Amazon does not carry everything! Often you can find better products somewhere else, and free shipping isn't worth it if the product choices are garbage.

Next, join the network carrying that merchant's affiliate program. Most will be on networks rather than in-house programs. If you do go with an in-house program, really investigate it, because as a newbie you can easily be taken advantage of.

Once you get approved by the network, apply to the merchant's program. If approved, then you can start promoting those products, whether by banner ad, text link, or datafeed listing.

Hi -- certainly can appreciate where you're at as a lot of us feel the same way -- Trish pretty much answered -- we each build our own business(es) here at Wealthy Affiliate through either the OEC or Bootcamp... and of course, the WA community is amazingly helpful through the Help Center or Live Chat or questions. All the best to you, cheerio... :)

Hey James,

If you are referring to drop shipping, see the screen prints below to see how you can easily access tutorials, blogs and even read others comments to questions posted.

As for assisting you making your website, that is what the Getting Started lessons (see 3rd screen print below) will teach you. If you need an answer to a question, all you need to do is ask.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks. I'm still having some issues and can't seem to find the answers. Do you know of any ambassadors that work one on one to get everything set up correctly?

None that I know of as this is a community where we help each other out publicly. When doing this, it helps others when they search and find conversations like this one.

Perhaps this training will help point you in the right direction:

Hi Everyone,

I am at the point now where I am finally going to start adding affiliate inventory to my site.

This is obviously one of the most important parts in c

You should be able to pull any links you need from the interface for managing the program, whether it is an in-house program or through a network.

Here is Kyle's video about monetizing your site with affiliate links and where I got my information from. Hope it helps you!

I always recommend starting to add affiliate links as soon as you've been accepted into a network and affiliate programs. I think that offering a deeplink direct to the product is actually a service to your reader, as you make it much easier for them to find the product than having to search by themselves for it.

I think that as long as you have a base of content and they are starting to rank, there should be no problem with starting to add affiliate links.

As a previous poster said, you'll want to look for affiliate programs that do not require minimum traffic or that do not require a sale within a period of time, such as Amazon. Good luck!

There is no hard fast rules on it but if you already see somedecent traffic coming to your website you might want to start monetize it.

Hi James,

I see you are a recent member of WA. Welcome!

Are you working on the Certification Course and.or the Affiliate Bootcamp? The courses are the best you will get online to build your own online business. Take advantage of them. If you follow the courses step-by-step by the time you have completed them you will definitely be up and running. If you don't deviate from the lessons you will get to where you need to go. Following the courses will guide you through the process of when certain actions should be taken.

If you are following the certification training James you will be guided through the process of adding affiliate links.

As long as the affiliate program doesn't have any traffic requirements, you can start using affiliate links right away. Like WA links can go up right away - and product links for thing like information products or website sign-ups are usually good right away too. Otherwise, I usually wait until I'm getting about 100 clicks per day for things like an Amazon product, say. But there is no hard/fast rule - check the terms of service to see if the affiliate program you are promoting has traffic requirements.

I would like to scan all of my posts to make sure Google is not going to effect my ranking. I've created about 10 posts from other people (giving them credit). It's great mater

Love it! Thanks ladies. That's so silly that I didn't even think to go back and use that. Super easy fix. Feel free to check out my site if you get a chance. Always appreciate some solid feedback. www.vipsignatures.com

I agree with Heather, you can check for duplicate content on SiteContent by copying and pasting your post in there :)

I have been studying the features of Jaaxy for days because I wrote 2 blogs on Jaaxy this week. I don't think Jaaxy checks content - did you check the content with Site Content?

Here are the features of the upgrade - everything that comes with Jaaxy Lite is enough to get your blog started solidly with keyword research - that's why I have not upgraded to the Pro or Enterprise.

Publishing from Site Content will check the content for duplicate content which could bring penalties.
