If I sell a website that is created using the WA / Wordpress themes hosted on the WA platform, can I move it to another hosting site Eg GoDaddy, without any problems? I know

I also suggest you backup your sites, you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.

Then you or the buyer can contact next hosting provider and ask their support how to migrate site to their servers.

You may use marketplaces like GoDaddy, Sedo, Flippa, and | or Uniregistry to list your domains. I would follow up on each site's terms and conditions and how to make sales. What you need to look for. Also, I would use the services of an escrow so that I do not get scammed. They typically charge a fee.

If you have a built site, it is worth getting an estimate and working out your stats so that your buyer | and the bidder can work out their ROI. And to prove authenticity and transparency.

Or you may employ brokers to sell your domains; they also charge a fee.

Good luck whatever you do.

I was looking for a site that I can host my ebook ... Ive come across Uploadnsell . com but Im not sure it if is legit. Otherwise is Amazon the best place ?

thanks Ja

With Amazon you get the benefits of the Kindle program. This is where I advise people to go get started with Kindle.

I am all about Amazon!

Hi James, I think Amazon is the best bet. Irv.

Amazon is still the safe place, James.

Yesterday I changed from AIO SEO to Yoast SEO. Today my WA 'My Stats' have dropped to zero - clicks zero .. has anyone experienced this before. Can I fix it ?

My stats dropped or rather crashed also from one day to another. But I didn't change from AIO to Yoast. I did purchase and create a new domain, but I only added the regular plugins I use.
I wonder also what could have happened. Shirley

Waw that's amazing! Did you discover what happened?

No experience on this area yet. Glad I can learn from all of you through your comments

OK yep .. it was temporary ... traffic back again and better... Raw clicks and unique clicks much better than before. Content clicks still down but possibly because I have not finished fixing the 'focus keyword' entries on my articles. But looks like it is on it's way.

I think Paul can help. That is only temporary.

Hi, James, this is very interesting topic. I'm not using Yoast because I share Ventures2000 opinion that it's been overhyped. But, on the other hand, Paul is praising it. It will be very interesting to see if you, as a new Yoast user, can get sufficient results is a reasonable time. I believe many will support me asking you to share your updates on this.
Thank you. Kirill.

You probably haven't set up Yoast properly.

What is the fascination with Yoast. I have had it on one site for a year and have gotten maybe three or four green lights. Never ranked in that time, but then there is more to that than Yoast. AIO on two sites and have several page ones in just 60 days. Paul's great reviews not withstanding, working with Yoast can drive nuts. Just saying

Interesting!

It will come back once it has sorted out the changes, I take it you added google analytics to Yoast

yes I have. Its been a bit of a nightmare actually - ive been having to redo all the SEO for all my pages and posts .. nothing has a 'Focus keyword'. AIO SEO didnt have this - you had a number of keywords for each post but Yoast concentrates on one only .. I suppose this isnt a bad thing.

Hope it all settles down and it runs smoothly for you now

I want to know if it is possible / viable to change an existing domain name that Is not ranking, to a better keyword rating domain name . can I just change the website name or

I would leave the domain name as it is and let the site mature. Keep adding the content. Although it can help to have a domain name closely linked to what you are doing, it is often the content that matters and the keywords within.

For example, do a search on female online clothes shopping, and you get Marisota.com, Boohoo.com, Missguided.com, none of those domains are in any way related to female clothes shopping! :)

Thanks for that.. I see your point. I do have some content that is ranking ok, so maybe i should leave it as is and perhaps do another website with the other name...

If the content is ranking ok, you are doing great. Do the other website eventually though, more income. I am going to make another once my first one is more established.
