Hello, James here

I am wanting to go help people whose questions have been unanswered but I cannot find the activity tab or the dashboard tab. I don't know if it's becau

You just scroll down your WA Home Page and you will see the questions.
Those with a zero have not been answered yet but you can give your opinion on any of the questions.
The more info the person asking the question gets the more likely they are to get the answer that suits them best.

Hi James, if you go the Training - Classrooms and click on a classroom, there is a tab for unanswered questions.

I am using the Sydney theme in WordPress and I am having trouble adding a picture along with my blog post. Please help. Thanks,
James

If you are using the site content tool, have you tried to just selecting the picture icon, then inserting your picture.

This video should help

One way of getting around this is using the site content tool here and loading it up to your website.

Perhaps that may work better?

There is also a tutorial to show you how to use it correctly and spell check

Hello, I was wondering since people will be viewing what is on my blog, do I post the landing page on my blog, because that is where my links to the products I am promoting wil

Hi James,

NO, the landing page has nothing to do with your posts.

The landing page is a stand-alone page hosted on your site, a page that usually isn't part of your main content or site structure. Basically, a landing page is used to promote your site (via social media, email marketing, paid ads, etc) in order to captivate the attention of your potential readers/customers with a simple, to-the-point statement and a so-called call to action (CTA).

In other words:

Landing page (or lead capture page); a single webpage displayed as a first touch-point when a potential customer has been approached with a marketing campaign as a result of a search result or an online advertisement. The landing page is used to display additional engaging marketing copy in order to generate a desired action (conversion).

Regards,
Zed

How do I avoid google thinking that my website is a "bridge website" while promoting products? Do I write blogs posts about other topics related to my niche that are not trying

Yeah you're on the right lines there. Try and keep affiliate links in one place. For example, on my magic related website I might review a magic trick and add an affiliate link to it. That's fine.

Later I might create a blog post titled 'top ten ways to impress your friends'. Within this post I might mention the same magic trick. I don't put my affiliate link on it this time. Instead I link it to my initial review page. That why I still direct customers toward a potential sale without spamming affiliate links everywhere.

So essentially make sure you have pages with affiliate links, and then aim to redirect traffic to those same pages. That why you never 'waste' a post, even if there are no affiliate links in them, because they drive traffic to converting pages and posts.

Of course, it's easier said than done, I still get the urge to chuck affiliate links in most of my posts but you have to try and hold back and find a way to move that traffic to your actual affiliate linking pages.

Hope this helps!

You can avoid this when you only promote your products in review posts. That means that you link from your posts to your review posts and should not promote your products with every single post.

Blog Post (no affiliate link) -> Review -> Products

and NOT

Blog Post -> Product

Thank you for all of the wonderful help.

Yes- you can write about important topics related to your niche and how to articles. You can also link to your reviews rather than your products.
