Milestone 2: So much to learn, so much to do!
Premium Membership
I opted for the $19 USD trial month. The next day, Wealthy Affiliate started hounding me to expand that to a full year. So, I purchased the whole year. Unfortunately, the WA system added $341 USD to make my first year cost $360! I've asked Kyle if that should be less (supposedly a year is $349, right now). I'll post his response when he has time to do so.
Too Many Things at Once!
Not only am I trying to get through all 50 lessons of the Online Entrepreneur Certification, my Referer sends me eMails with links to videos to watch every day! In addition, there are all of the people choosing to welcome me to Premium Membership or to Follow me (Hooray!), to whom I feel obligated to respond and reciprocate. And there are all of those Notifications from articles that I have read or videos I have watched... Not to neglect my normal, daily eMails, my five previous blogs, and administering one blog and six Facebook groups. Gah! Time to really put my Time Management training to extreme use.
Complete | Online Entrepreneur Certification - Level 1 : Lesson 5 of 10
I've now completed 15 / 28 Tasks in Level 1 of Online Entrepreneur Certification. After writing this, I'll go through Lesson 6. I'm very much looking forward to going through it and moving well beyond it as fast as I am able to do so.
In Process | Affiliate Bootcamp - Phase 1 : Lesson 2 of 10
Still at Lesson 3, because I'm working through the Online Entrepreneur Certification. I feel I will need to go back and review from Lesson 1.
Feeling More Confident
I'm really warming to Wealthy Affiliate and considering moving all of my other sites here. I'll wait until I'm more sure of myself, here, first.

I feel ya! It’s time management for sure. I have yet to master that between my mom duties, being a wife, home based job plus home chores and WA. It is a lot! Thanks for sharing and welcome e to WA.
Thank you for saying, this is interesting and there are many tips that we need to take, there are many benefits to the explanation that we can try, especially for beginners who have many disadvantages like me. Thanks
Hey James!
Great post and I want to say first hand, getting through these courses take time... I tried to rush things and failed miserably!
I find this place to help when I get writers block or just want to take a break for a bit...
As the the membership, maybe they added in the cost of the your domain since technically it would have been up for renewal anyways?
I either way, I have always received quick reply...
Best of luck,
Timm
Hi & Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate (WA)! -- excellent choice... :)
1. Overwhelm Factor -- yes, for beginners, very definitely
2. WA community is amazingly helpful & responsive 24/7 pretty much to help answer any & all of your questions about the training or platform
3. WA platform is technologically advanced -- suggest take a wee bit of orientation time for yourself to uncover each & all of the functions of each icon
4. Wordpress -- you'll become proficient at it soon -- simply follow the training ...
5. Review and re-do -- that's perfectly ok as most of us have had to re-set, re-do, re-everything... :)
Enjoy a beautiful journey of learning, doing, to success... all the best, cheerio... :)
You seem to be doing well James. Yes when you look at everything you are juggling here at Wealthy Affiliate it can get overwhelming.
Welcome to internet marketing. Anyone that has ever been involved in this space has felt the same way at one point or another. This feeling of "overwhelm" happens when you aren't laser focused. Which, by the way, is very easy to do. Letting it get the best of you will cause many to fold up their tent and call it quits.
At least you recognize it. Stay focused on one task at a time. Don't get sidetracked. While reciprocating to posts and follows is nice, it will not advance your website.
While I'm laying in bed (after I have worked on my sites, responded to comments on my sites, responded to comments on youtube, and instagram) then I will talk to the WA community (like I am now) give back to the community.
But, take care of YOUR business first.
Wishing you the best.
You will do great.
