Just arrived in WA I realized that the main asset of this community is the amount of good energy and positive vibration that you breathe as soon as you login.

It is exciting to see people writing blogs, asking questions, answering questions in the training area and how quickly they respond when you ask for private chat.

After doing several researches and experiments with Jaaxy's tool, I decided my first niche, however it is something that although I find it very interesting and I really want to start researching and working, I am not an expert, in fact it is very far of my work area.

What will happen then with this situation? It will be a good idea to start with a niche that I practically do not know? For me the answer is a resounding YES.

Not knowing a niche forces me to do my best and investigate everything I can about him. Knowing little or nothing about it, it becomes my duty to study him with discipline and determination, knowing that if it is a question of turning it into a business, I can not afford to take false steps. I must replace with hard work what I do not have in expertise in the niche in question.

Then I would like to give you 5 tips to start working in a niche that catches your attention, you like it but you are not an expert and you know practically nothing:

1. Ask yourself this question: Would it be something you would like to talk about at a dinner with friends?

This question is key. If you can not feel pride in the niche you have selected, maybe you should not start investigating it with the intention of turning it into a business. The niche in question should make you want to tell your friends and feel that they want to know about your new project. Your new topic or research niche should make your chest swell and your head up while talking about it. Others must see the passion you feel for your new subject so much that they even want to be part of it or at least know it a little more. If your new niche generates shyness or embarrassment consider looking for another niche.

2. Read everything you can about your niche in google.

Or in other search engines if you prefer but you must know what has been said about your niche. Remember that to turn it into business you must offer something more. If for example your niche are cosmetics, your blog should offer a view of the products that others do not have and for this it is necessary to know everything that is published on the internet or at least the first 3 pages of google (or your favorite search engine) ) since you can not re invent the wheel or ignore the biggest aspects of your niche in question.

3. Enter related forums

The forums are an excellent point of reference for your niche. Not all niches are so popular as to generate forums of high traffic but if your niche generates even a forum become a member, read everything that has been said so far (it could take several days but it is a necessary task) and then start to ask pertinent questions to know more.

4. Contact other experts or at least related to your niche

It is very important the angles or points of view of other people in your niche. It is important to take for granted that not all the information you need is on the internet. The information on the web could be 80 or even 90% but there are always things that remain of the particular knowledge of people related to your niche. For example, you can research everything about street theater on the internet, but if you want to expand your knowledge it would be excellent to write an email or contact one of these actors to ask questions and share your experience and point of view from the personal and not in the coldness of a website.

5. Make physical contact with your niche

Simply staying in information and research is not enough. You need to touch your niche. With this I do not say that you must necessarily have it (or buy it), but at least if you see it in the first person. For example, if you want to work in the niche of toys, you do not need to buy or have the items you want to offer, but if you have seen them in the first person, either in a store or in a gallery or fair. Also someone who already has them and can give you some access would be useful. This last point has restrictions. For example if your niche is tourism it would be a bit difficult to go to all the places you offer to travel, but at least if you can go to one with this it would help you to transfer those personal and human impressions to your website. The physical contact with your niche is very important and it is the final step to have a real connection with what you like.

The affiliate market can be a very intimidating universe especially if you do not know which niche to choose because one day you discover that "you are not an expert in anything". "Become an expert" is a very exciting journey that can take you far, meet new people and make fantastic discoveries, and all this to return impressions, feelings, experiences and human aspects that only you can offer your website and differentiate it of the great mass that in many occasions simply puts cold information and with the sole interest of generating a sales click.
That your website is authentic, human, alive, passionate so that at the beginning it does not have the most information nor be the most expert in the network. If you work in the way that I just explained to you, one day you will be an authority in your niche.

A great post. I agree. The most important thing about a niche is, that you are so interested in it, that you want to learn about it as much as possible. It is not necessary to be an expert in a niche already, but you MUST WANT to become an expert.

Thank you very much for your message. This is my first post!

A great first post! Keep up the activity.
