Use Pretty Links On Social Media to Learn What People Want to Read
I have been using pretty links to make ugly links look nice. :-)
Besides that, the first day I used pretty links it was really interesting to see that as soon as I pinned on Pinterest, it showed how many people visited the link.
Within seconds it went up to 8.
For testing purposes to see which Social Media Channel responded more, I created two pretty links for each one link.
Then I posted on Instagram. There was a response, but not as much as Pinterest.
Not only was I able to learn where I should focus more Social Media attention, but I also was able to learn what type of posts people respond to.
Right now I have 4 pins which are attracting a lot of atttention. My pretty links numbers have increased for those.
You could do the same to test all your Social Media channels as well see what content people respond to - which means writing more of that.
My Pinterest account is almost at a 1000, where instagram is still at 600. I really started doing anything socially about 1 month ago.
I've learned how to grow social media accounts, which is a 'yay' for me.
Anyways, I hope you find some use with this.

Hi, Thanks for sharing this post! I didn't know you could use Pretty Links to create 2 of the same URLs. This would be good for testing and tracking which URL is performing best on social media. I get it.
I have been experimenting with Bitly and I noticed you can't delete the shortened URL and start over again. There's a "Hide" button, so it still stays on their site. Kind of suspicious wouldn't you say?
Very helpful post. Thank you for sharing!
