Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

Hi All,
I posted a review on my website and asked for comments from the WA community. I got a feedback with a suggestion to add more content to the review. I made around 80%

that should not be a problem Jacob..wishing you well

Thank you Gus. Wish you the same.

As others have stated, you can go back and improve, but don't DELETE pages/posts after they've been indexed. Also be careful about restructuring your site and moving pages/posts around after being indexed.

Last year, I made the mistake of making several overall website changes/updates after pages/posts had been indexed. After I did that, I realized there were several 404 errors on my site (stating pages could not be found) which was quite the mess. So, just be careful with that particular aspect.

Have a great day / evening.

Wishing you much online success,
Yvette

Thank you Yvette for the advice. I will bear that in mind.
Jacob.

What Smartketeer said! Improvements will only help, never hinder :)

Thank you Talzus,
That's good to hear.

Hi Jacob,

You just said that you've made a bunch of improvements to your content ... So why would Google penalize you?

Yes, your content will be re-indexed when Google will re-visit your site, but since we are talking about improvements, you should get better results ...

Thank you Smartketeer, That's very encouraging. I didn't know that.

You're welcome!
