My 3rd day In Wealthy Affiliate: Niche Training
WOW.
Choosing your niche video was very enlightening in lesson 3 of 10 in course 1.
I never thought of niches as an audience you are marketing to and that every product is a niche because people are shopping for that product. It makes alot of sense to sell towards an audience looking for specific products instead of marketing to a very, very, broad market. I have understood that but THE BREAKDOWN IN THIS VIDEO OPENED MY MIND to greater understanding.
To my understanding, the quality of people seeking the specific product will result in a higher quality of customers looking for that item(s) you resulting in a more responsive niche/audience. This is very huge for me as often, I have built soooo many websites to sell to too broad of an audience and did not know it.
Here is an example showing my new understanding about properly promoting to a niche:
Improper way as people are : Entertainment —> electronic video games -->
Proper way: Entertainment —> electronic video games —> PC/Mac —> Star Trek -->The Wrath Of Khan —> How to Succeed Strategically --> Product: Strategy Manual
(from here, I can promote all sorts of things regarding the Wrath of Khan.
Thank you all willing to connect and confirm my understanding.
I am looking forward to seeing the results based on a specific audience. The challenge now is, which audience or niche will I start off with in the following intrests:
Personal Development, Health and wellness or Video gaming?
What is so cool about this community from what I have seen is that people can ask a question and still get an answer by chat (which I have not tried yet) and or comments below each lesson.
I really appreciaet this community from what I have seen looking forward more that is offered after the trail period.
Stay tuned for my next blogging post.
Feel free to connect with me and follow me as I intend to be very active and grow.
Stay empowered,
Jacob
