Today's blog post I just wanted to talk about the importance of doing research to stay current in ways to get noticed, drive traffic, get yourself, your website or brand seen.

You see loads of articles about video marketing, many articles about using YouTube and Daily Motion to help get traffic to your site or to help market affiliate products.

There are many ways to be seen or interact with others, there are image sharing sites (some examples include Flickr, photobucket, imgur), video sharing sites (Daily Motion, Vimeo, YouTube, vine), social bookmarking sites (StumbleUpon, Reddit, Diigo, Plurk), Social media sites (linkedin, instagram, twitter, facebook, pinterest, Google+), online message boards/forums, and there are many other ways as well. The thing is there's more new ways to interact with people or market your product/business being developed regularly. So staying current with new ways or new websites/ programs is a good way to stay ahead of the competition and grow your business.

That being said today I wanted to share with you something I have noticed but not many people are taking advantage of. Amazon Video Direct is owned and operated by Amazon it's a fairly new program that launched earlier this year, it has huge potential for video creators because you can allow Amazon Prime members to be able to see your videos when they are browsing Amazon prime. Earlier this year it was estimated that Amazon Prime has 54 million users (it could be more now because this estimation was done in January, some stats suggest they are around 63 million now.) However many people haven't heard of this program and did not know they could upload videos to Amazon. If you do keyword research and apply the keywords to your video titles it could certainly be beneficial to you.

Amazon Video Direct also pays content creators so this could be another way to earn profits as well.
