What Should I Write About? Needing Your Input

I'm really struggling at the moment to find topics to write about for my WA blog. But... things have changed and know I'm struggling so I'm asking you a question...

What should I write about?

Usually, if I find out some information or or have an event in my life I drop a few words letting you know within my WA blog.

And to be honest I never usually have a problem in finding words in fact I tend to waffle on about all manner of subjects and have to go back and edit my writing so that I stay on track.

I've been rather puzzled as to why I've been finding it so hard to write a weekly blog for Wealthy Affiliate as usually this isn't a problem at all.

I think I might have found the answer.

I've been really enjoying the challenge of the SWAG action points and look forward to ticking off the points as I've achieved them. The Super Affiliate Group has given me much more focus in my work especially within my blog posts on my website.

The challenge of 12000 words in 12 posts really wasn't an issue but writing 12000 words of value really means having to hone in on your topic so that your posts are relevant and valuable for your regions.

So I come back to the WA blog post actions.

What on earth should you write about that will engage members on the Wealthy Affiliate platform without writing an autobiography!!

  • Are you really interested in how I was attacked by little biting bugs after sitting in the garden on our first warm evening here in the uk?
  • Or, do you want to know how my office building is coming on.
  • Are you interested in the progress I'm making going through the super affiliate challenge ?
  • Could you care less which television program or film I watched last week?
  • Would you be more interested to hear about programs or resources I use to help me on my way.
  • How long would you like this blog post to be. Do you get fed up after a few paragraphs? Or do you enjoy reading long informative blogs packed with information and stories?

Come on WA friends, help me out here.

What should I write about that won't bore you rigid or for that matter bore me rigid.

And just in case you are interested I was attacked by little bugs and spent the first three days of this week taking cold showers and too many antihistamine tablets.

My office is coming on nicely and hope to get some power and telephone lines in soon. Hopefully I can move in within the next few months - if you're interested

As for the super affiliate challenge I'm loving every minute of it and learning some much quicker rate than I have done in a long while.

If you're interested I've been watching The Blacklist and found this really compelling. James Spader is quite lovely.

I'm absolutely loving the speech recognition within google drive and this has really turned around my blog posting schedule.

Have a wonderful week ahead

Jackie

And, you thought you had nothing to say???? wonderful news that your new office is progressing, and that you will be able to reside in it shortly.
We had the commonwealth games in Oz last week, it was amazing, did you get to see any of it? If you did, what sport caught your attention.?
I am ignoring the World News at this time. Not good conversation.
Cheers Jae ☺

Hello Jackie.

I like posts that are creative. I don't mind reading long posts as long as they keep my attention. SWAG (is that what it's called?) updates are great. I love reading them.

I've never done speech recognition, so I would love to learn about that.

I'm always happy to learn about new resources. Learning is my thing right now, and the more I can learn, the better my site becomes.

I don't mind reading about movies or TV shows. I've recently been to the theater and watched A Quiet Place. It was very suspenseful and I cried, so it was a good movie.

I wish I had warm weather here. Middle of the USA and we have a blizzard outside our windows.

This is also probably the longest reply I have posted in some time as I did find your content engaging and made me think, so congrats, you've done what you wanted to do.

Thank you for the post and take care.

I like to hear how people are coming along with the Super Affiliate challenge, plus tools and resources they've used to help them with their websites.

Coming up with a weekly blog post here on WA is low on my list of priorities anymore, as is sitting in Live Chat for any length of time. There's just too much to do in my life right now.

So how are you using the speech recognition? I find I think better when I can see my words typed.

Hi Shirley
I love writing and always prefer to 'type' but there are times when I can't get my head around what I want to say. This is when I find speech recognition comes into its for me.
Also, if I'm out and about and think of something I'd like to write about, it's a great way to record my thoughts without having to stop and write or type.
I would recommend giving it a try.
Thanks
Jackie
