Happy Anniversary and the P Word
Hello WA Friends
On the 18th April I celebrated my 3rd year anniversary at Wealthy Affiliate.
Things haven't always gone smoothly - oh what an understatement - but this has nothing to do with WA but my own life getting in the way.
I've been here for three years because I don't think there is a better place to belong for learning all there is to learn about internet marketing. More than that though is the wonderful support that comes with being a member at Wealthy Affiliate.
And I don't mean just support with websites, themes, widgets and all that geeky stuff! I mean support across the board. I have made some great friends here who have seen me through some 'sticky' times and I shall be forever grateful - You know who you are:)
While I'm in this 'chatty' mood I thought I'd say a word about perserverence - Oh Yes, the P word.
I've noticed a few posts, comments etc asking about how long it takes to succeed, what exactly is needed to succeed, etc, etc, etc.
I think it would be true to say if you asked 50 people or even 500 people they would all have a different answer but the 'P' word would probably feature in most of them.
I am a good example of the 'P' Word.
Three years down the line and now I've started to earn a living from everything I've learnt at Wealthy Affiliate. Believe me, this would have come much quicker if I'd stuck at it in the beginning but 'shiny object syndrome' has been a weakness and led me off the straight and narrow.
So, I feel a little bit of an old hand now with some experience under my belt.
Wealthy Affiliate gives you everything you need to succeed with your online business but what it can't do is 'do it for you'. That has to come from you. If you give up, that's not WA's fault. Your success could be just around the corner.
There are so many people here who are so happy to lend a hand so take advantage of this wonderful community - Oh, and don't forget to help out when you can - it's a great feeling.

Today is my 2yr. Anniversary. Even though I agree with everything you say about WA. It is embarrassing and I feel sad and broken-hearted that I get congrats from members of the communities and networks I have joined, but we get no acknowledgement from WA
Congratulations Maurice on your 2nd anniversary.
I understand it is always nice to be contacted by Kyle, Carson or Jay but in the end I know they are there for me if I need them.
I stay with WA because of the support of the member (my friends).

I was thinking that about you Jackie how time flies did not know you were at the 3 year mark remember when you welcomed me here I am just over 2 years here and I have not looked back in many ways , glad to see all is going well for you
Excellent words Jackie and I'll include a couple more "p" words, persistence and positivity.
I'm sure there are more but if people stuck to just those 3 there would be plenty more of us making a good living online.
Congratulations on your 3 years and I intend to follow you there in a couple of years' time.
