Will training go through putting products inn= the store or hsould I just start that now

Wow sorry for that terrible grammar.

there is training for doing that, if you used the plugin woocommerce, that is good for affiliate marketing products and your own products. Jay did a series on woocommerce in his live videos.

Thank You!

It will cover affiliate links and such. Are you building a storefront and if so are you adding your own products or others?

I'm wanting to make my own store, but it'll be more of dropshipping

for a beginner do you think affiliate would be better?

If there is a website just like the one I want to create and the more I continue creating the more it shadows theirs should I shy away from the niche and try to find one withou

That's an interesting issue. You need to bring your uniqueness to your site and make it your own. Write in your style, use your own words, pick the images that speak to your content and so on.

Frankly there are a ton of sites that are similar to each other. Just think of all the WA promotion sites that are out there now. I'm working on mine as we speak but I'm sure there's probably 1000 of them out there.

You can't worry about who you might be similar to. Burger King sells burgers, McDonald's sells burgers but they're different, etc.

I say work your niche if you love it and just make it your own.

i see . okay I'll try to do that

This is where you must find a way to differentiate yours from the other one. Perhaps you write about long-tail keywords that the other site isn't addressing. Perhaps you have a different take on the same topic (hopefully you are an expert on it). Perhaps you recommend different products as a solution (they probably are just using Amazon, which is never a good idea).

You're never going to find a niche without someone else in it. So you just have to find a different way to do it.

hm okay. I guess I just need to get creative

Using their same design or using the same niche?

same niche, but everything I do they already have done. i.e. my blog posts and all the products I want to sell. Plus they are ranked at the top already

If you're using the same niche, I would find the way to make a more attractive website to get more attention. Find the way to innovate it, to make it look better and search for improvements on their website, to add those to your website. Use other terms to describe the product to make it sound more attractive as well!

So basically just do me better than them and try to out them in the long run

Would longboards and skateboards and that type of things be to wide of a niche

you can do product reviews, skate gear, best of reviews, How to use long boards, best places to skateboard. shoes for boarding etc
Amazing
I'm excited for you
Vicki

Oh wow those are great content ideas. The best places would be great for targeting audiences.

Thank you!

Hi Jace
amazing niche and you will do exceptionally well if you do all the training and work really hard
You want to leave your job, so stay focused, and don't stop growing and building every chance you get :)
Success is waiting for you
Vicki

Thank you I hope so

I know it my friend

You'll have to do a bit of research, but I think that's a good start. (It's still too wide, in my opinion, so you might want to narrow that down a bit.)

Think of it this way: provide some sort of service for those longboards.

so try to provide something rather than just sell a type of product?

Well, that's something related to your content of your site.

Are you going to focus on reviewing boards? Are you going to give tips about how to maintain them? Can you convince a reader who's on the fence about picking up longboards?

Things like that.

Okay I see. I think selling different parts of the board may be more narrow. Then I can sell as parts. as well as a category of boards. With content aimed to new people to the community and older people needing parts.
