Not getting emails from WA.

I seem to be getting mine fine

Hi everyone. Kyle helped me get my WA emails back. Thanks again to all of those who helped me. :)

I don't know, last mail I got was over an hour ago, so when you reply, I can answer you if I still get mail :)Loes

Thanks Loes.

I get mine, Loes

I am still not getting my WA emails, so I will PM Kyle for help. Thanks to everyone for helping me. :)

Hi there, that happened to me recently, I found they were all going into my spam folder. Just select one and move it to the inbox and they should start coming into you inbox again. If that is where they are going. Kim :))

Thanks Kim. I will check there.

Very cool, hit me back and let me know its all good. :))

Not with gmail. I had it with Outlook and others have had it with Hotmail. Since switching to gmail, I'm fine. Did you whitelist it or tell them it's not spam? Have you checked your spam folders? A few people have found their mail there. If you can't find it, I'd PM Kyle or Carson and ask.

Thanks Carla. I will check my spam folder.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to tell all about my first income amount from my website, www.uniqueplussize.com. I hav

Congratulations!

Thank you Brenda. It has been a long time coming!

That is great-- I remember my first one --it fired me up and it was 4+ years ago.

Keep it up !!!

Coach Ed

Thanks Ed. It has fired me up too!

That's great, nice job!

Thank you Kim. I worked hard for it!

Your welcome!

Well done Andrea, of course it's not the amount that matters. Now that you know what you are doing actually works you can scale it up to whatever you like.

Keep going and I look forward to your next victory.

Nick

Thanks Nick,

Great job. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Chris.

Congratulations Ivy! Now the snowball picks up speed down the hill!
Cheers, Joe

Thanks Joe....I've got my fingers crossed!

You go, girl!

Thanks George!

It certainly is a big victory. WOOT!!!!! I am going over to check out your site, too, being of that persuasion. :)

Thanks Carla. If you need help with anything, just let me know. :)

Will do. I took a quick peek at your store. I only DON'T shop in about 4 of those places. LOL

Glad to hear that Carla :)

I gigantic victory actually!
It's like breaking the ice on something you haven't done before. That result is the beginning to a much larger victory.

Congratulations Ivy!

Thanks Damien.....you are so right.

I place images on the right side but they appear on the left side in my posts. How can I correct this?

Indeed, by just reading blogs and queries you can learn a lot.
Way to go Andrea.

Thanks Ben and I certainly have learned a lot from reading both.

A man becomes learned by asking questions.

Hello Andrea,

When you add an image to your content, you must ensure you have the alignment set to 'right'.

Here is a screenshot showing:
http://take.ms/YgzVg

This will move your images to the right.

Jay, I do hit the right side button in editor, the image is on the right side but when I look at the updated version, the images are on the left side in the posts. What am I not doing?

Can you share the website address that is having this issue?

Perhaps it is an issue with the code or styling of the theme.

Yes, my site is www.uniqueplussize.com. I did have this problem a month ago. Thanks for your help Jay.

I should have said I did not have this problem a month ago. :)

Can you turn off the 'Pin It' plugin and see if that fixes it.

I sure will and I'll let you know if that fixed it. Thanks.

Jay, It fixed the problem. I would have never thought to do that. Thanks for your help. :)

That's what was happening to me my first pin it button, then I deleted it, and pics were right. I then installed shareaholic plugin.

Thanks Gordi for sharing this information. I've learned a lot from everyone. :)

It's probably something with the themes stylesheet then. Does it look normal in the editor?

Yes, in editor it looks the way I want it on the right side on the posts but when I check the preview, the images are on the left side. I did not have this problem a month ago, so I don't understand,

What theme? Has the theme been updated recently? It sounds like an error in the css. If you align it to the left, is that also to the left?

Robin. I have the twenty twelve theme. If I align images to the left, they are on the left side. It is only when I align images on the right side that they appear on the left side when I preview the posts. Thanks for the help.

if WA only hosts premium, will another hosting site recognize my WA website for hosting?

When you purchase a domain name eg ivy15.com from Namecheap or whoever you will not lose that domain until you don't renew the payment for it.

WA bought domain hosting is free when you are a premium member. If you leave WA you've got 30 days as Welshy writes to transfer it to Hostgator or whoever. My advice is transfer before you cancel your membership at WA to ensure all hosting is ok and there are no problems. ie your website is fully functional elsewhere.

Thank you both Welshy & Annie...very good to know if I choose that path.

If you upgrade and cancel at a later date, you have 30 days to transfer your sites to a new hosting company.

Hi Ivy - no, another hoster will not recognize a WA site.

Your domain name (eg. http://yoursite.com) will point to your hoster (eg. Fasthosts, WA, 1and1 etc) - when your domain name points to your hoster, it has no connection or interest in hosting else where.

If you are staying on the free service at WA - you only have 2 free sites - but they will only be able to be sub-domains (Eg. mysite.siterubix.com) not proper domains (Eg. http://mysite.com)

I hope this answers your question, but if I've misunderstood, please let me know.

All the best, Mark

Thanks Mark...if I decide to go premium, then cancel at a later date, is my business in jeopardy, my domain?
