Does anyone know how to do this?
Ivan, I'm having trouble with my header image, too. I can get it on the page, but for some reason it's cropped, and I want to expand it to fill the whole allotted space. Can't figure out how to do that, either. I'll be hoping we both find some answers.
This is again theme dependent, but make sure you header image is at least 800 pixels wide. You can also crop it to alter the aspect ratio once you've uploaded it in WordPress. If you open it from the Media tab, and click edit, there are cropping and scaling tools built in. Rich.
Exactly what @RICH said, its really theme dependent. when you upload an header image, there should be a recommend pixel size for your particular theme. You really want to get your header image to the exact recommended size, however its always better to have it bigger and rescale it later, than to have a smaller one.
There is a measurement tool 'Firefox addon' called 'Measureit'. It measures anything in the browser window
Thanks, @Rich. I'll try to resize it in WordPress from the Media tab. It takes awhile to learn all the ins and outs around here.
