$16,716 In Passive Income From One Site - Not Too Shabby

Would you say no to $16K in passive income?

I certainly wouldn't!

I just realized that I made $16K from one website in passive income in 2021 and the year is not over!

Meaning, the number could, should, and most definitely will rise to over well over $20K by the end of the year.

By the way, I earned this income by promoting WA.

This number is far away from my ultimate goal in terms of income from this site.

However, when compared to 2020, things are slowly, but safely moving up!

2020 was a heavy year for me because I suffered six months (from May to December) in Google's "penalty box" because my site was technically horrible.

I spent those six months fixing the errors on my site, polishing up my content, and once I got out of the "penalty box" things have started to look much better.

This just goes to prove that no matter how hard the going may seem, you must never give up!

There will be tough times, but tough times never last. Only tough people last!

As a cherry on top for 2021, I'm 47 Premium referrals short of making it to Las Vegas.

Yup. Las Vegas baby! Woo Hoo!

So here goes the message for all of you who are working HARD on your Bootcamp and other niche websites.

Wealthy Affiliate blueprint works! But it works only for people who are willing to work on it.

There's no such thing in life as free rides.

You have to invest time, effort, and some money into this business before you can expect even the slightest of results.

But if you do so, the results will come! They always do.

And the more energy you put into your business today and tomorrow, the better your results will be in the next weeks, months, and years to come!

So keep hustling and best of luck!

Your friend,

Ivan :)

I like the honesty you have written here:
"You have to invest time, effort, and some money into this business before you can expect even the slightest of results."

Not many people realize that yes, time and effort will bring you to a certain number/amount, but when we need to scale things and push further up, some money will be necessary!

Keep on pushing my friend, Vegas is only about 3 sales per week away😉...You can do it👍👍

No investment, no return on the investment. That's how I like to think about it. And once you start earning, you have to reinvest to scale. That's just how a business operates. Glad you can see it!

I'll keep on pushing! I'm averaging more than 3 sales per week at this moment so it's almost a sure thing :) Thanks! And best of luck to you too!

I might see you there if things go the way I want them to😉

That would be AWESOME! Hope I see you there! 💪

Hey Ivan
Congratulations, that's serious progress and something I would want for myself.
I have a question for you if you do mind me asking.
How long the whole process took you to get to that stage right from starting your first post on the site?
I have been adding content to my niche site, and I reckon I will have 100 + posts by year-end; that's a year out.
So am I to assume that my MMO would probably start to produce in three or four years? and not be too optimistic in the first two years. I have to quantify figure out my progress; it is super important to me to make sound and REAL expectations and for budgeting purposes. As I stated in my last blog post, I am hoping my niche site would have taken a fruitful turn of conversions to proceeds which I can reinvest in my online business.
I would really appreciate a response.
Thank you so much.
Lula

Hey Lula, I started posting regularly on my MMO niche blog in mid of 2019. It started to take off in mid of 2020 (about a year later). However, I lost some six months after that due to a Core update. It took off again at the beginning of 2021 and so far, it's going well.

In the meantime, I have collected 500+ blog posts so I'm expecting a great surge in traffic and income by the end of this year and during 2022.

I hope this helps.

So helpful, Ivan. Thank you.
I really appreciate your response.
Am glad it can take shorter but my mistake may be I write very long quality posts, because to me I never compromise on quality.
But I'll see how can I manage.
Your testimony today helped me lots.
Thanks again.

Hi Ivan,

That is freakin amazing! Making that much in passive income (from one website alone) is remarkable.

$16,716 a year may not be much for an average worker. But if it's passive income (and doing affiliate marketing), that's something to be proud of. Who knows how much that'll be by the end of this year.

Your case is a great example that should inspire a lot of members. I'm impressed, so keep up the great work!

Thanks for sharing :)

All the best,

Eric

Thanks for your kind word, Eric. I really appreciate you. Best of luck to you too! :)

Hi Ivan and Congratulations!

This is a great achievement.

Regarding the suffering - I hear you, man.

I was in the same position last year when my traffic dropped from about 1,400 a day to 250 a day.
In December 2020, it started to go up again - until June/July 2021 Update.

After this summer Core update, it dropped back to 250-300 a day, so I am back in the "suffering" mode :)

I have about 290 posts, trying to publish 2 or 3 times per week, also improved the page speed loading, but since summer there is no significant change in terms of traffic.

Some of my posts rank on 1st page of Google so I don't think I am being penalized.

With that being said, I would like to ask you, how did you know you were penalized?

I keep an eye on the "Security & Manual Actions" within the Google Search Console.
No issues there.

Is there any other way to find out whether the site is penalized or not?

Anyways, I am glad you share with us your achievements.
To me it means only one thing - regardless of the current situation, there is only one way out.
The way forward - meaning keep publishing good quality content (not just reviews) and be tougher, as you mention.

Again, thanks for the encouragement, and hope you achieve Las Vegas within the next 47 days! :)

Have a good one!
Michal

I found out about the penalty through a site on the web that checks if your website has been flagged by Google's algorithm. But I can't remember the name of it.

From what I learned, there are different kinds of penalties. Some will remove your site from the search completely. Some will remove just bad posts. And some will cause your rankings to drop dramatically. The latter seems to be the most common.

What worked for me well was the fact that I updated all my posts and I still keep updating them daily!

I hope this works for you too. Thanks for your best wishes and best of luck to you too!

All righty,

I am gonna go ahead and update the old posts.

But you don't change the date of the post, do you?

The way I understand the updating the old post is:
- never change the URL
- never change the original date

Thanks again for the advice
Mike

Good morning Ivan,

It's good to hear from you, I hope you're doing well, it looks like you are which is fantastic!

I guess you have been very busy as I thought the other day I haven't seen any posts from Ivan recently? It's absolutely fantastic that you're making so much progress Ivan, I know that you have been genuinely working hard and focusing on your online business.

As you mention, it is living proof that the Wealthy Affiliate training works! There's just one catch, we all have to work and this is what we were created to do! If we don't work, we don't eat! There's nothing more satisfying than job satisfaction!

You have such a refreshing story to tell, Ivan, it's great that you have climbed up the ladder by taking action. A massive well done and congratulations to you, you will inspire many, including myself!

Wishing you all the best and a great day.

Roy

I'm very much alive, Roy. I've been busy with my business so I wasn't posting that often here.

There's no reward if there's no work, right? Wishing you all the best too, my friend :)

I'm glad all is well Ivan, I guessed that you were busy with your business as you seem a very focused gentleman, which is fantastic.

I'm very much one for having to work for everything, I also know what work satisfaction is. I think it's so rewarding when we start a new business and we watch it grow, however, those of us who have done it know that it takes a lot of effort.

Wishing you all the best Ivan.

Roy
